We spent 3 nights at the HK Disneyland Hotel and thought it was the most amazing hotel. We have previously stayed at the Disneyland Hollywood Hong Kong and while we enjoyed that hotel it has nothing on this one. We were lucky to be upgraded for $400HKD per night to a seaview room with a balcony and I would absolutely recommend this. We were overlooking the water and it was so peaceful.

We had breakfast each day at the Enchanted Garden which was a character breakfast. The food was good and it was great to get a photo with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto without having to line up in Disneyland. Well worth it. We didn't eat at the other restaurants as they were really expensive so we went to the Hollywood Hotel and ate at Chef Mickey for 2 nights. This was a lot better priced at $198HKD per person for a buffet type meal. The food was really good. We did use the poolside bar for food once and found this to be pretty good value and quite tasty.

The hotel itself is truly stunning. The lobby had a huge Xmas tree and the whole lobby was decorated with xmas bows and reefs. It was beautiful.

The rooms were quite spacious, having two double beds and a chair. The bathroom was a very good size and everything was spotlessly clean.

We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and will be coming back next year.

We stayed in hongkong disneyland hotel around the 3rd week of Nov 2009. Although we booked a Garden View room, we requested for something with a sea view and they gave one to us at the top floor, from which we could see the sea and the Maze of the hotel. We stayed 3 nights at an offer price of about SGD 320/night. Regular price was about SGD400/night. Room was very nice and they provided the kiddie barriers, to prevent kids from rolling off the bed. There were 2 queen beds and a nicely sized room for, I would say, 2 adults and 2 kids. Everything was clean and nice. The curtains were nice and thick and blocked out the sunlight completely, so much so that we could sleep in till late and still didn't realise it was bright and sunny outside till we drew the curtains.

There's a PRINCE ERIC room meant for youngsters to do things like colouring, playing, reading, listening to bedtime stories. It was quite nice.

We signed up for the buffet breakfast which had Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto visiting each table. We thought the buffet was a bit overpriced but went for it because of the Disney characters for our kid.

Nothing to complain about.

Kids loved it! The hotel is very nice. It is built like a palace and is very clean and plush. Though the rates are expensive but we thought it was penny well spent!
We did the Enchanted garden breakfast as well but thought that was little overpriced. There are two pools - one outside and one indoors. Botha re heated in winters and kids loved that. The lobby was done up very well as Christmas is around the corner.
The service is amazing and the staff efficient. Effiecient but not frindly. That is the only downside ...the girls at the reception do not smile. Even if the small children say "Hello" in their sweet manner they respond but do not smile at them. I found that very strange and eerie. They are very efficient but not frendly.
The lawns are good and the kids lvoe the maze which is made of hedge. There is a nice play areas as well. There is a shutle which goes to the park every 10 mins and is nicve and colorful.

The rooms are large and have two big beds which can accomodate 2 kids easily.

Just returned from a Magical stay at The Hongkong Disneyland Hotel. We were 4 families traveling together and reached the Hotel at around 12 in the afternoon and the check in lady gave us two rooms immediately although the check in time was 3 o'clock.Check in was extremely smooth and the luggage arrived in our rooms in almost no time . As requested we got all our 4 rooms next to each other. One unique feature was that the rooms were below the lobby level.Booked the character breakfast at the garden restaurant of the Hotel.Booking the breakfast at check in itself is cheaper as you get a discount of about 20 percent. Although the breakfast was not cheap (198 HKD ) it was worth every dollar. All the staff at the breakfast had a smile on their faces and the Disney characters moving around really exited the kids. The staff also readily obliged in clicking photographs with the characters.Breakfast selection was huge and also had a few Indian dishes also which the children loved very much. The overall ambience of the hotel was cool and relaxing .Had dinner at the restaurant at the lobby level which had lounge type seating arrangement also .The service at dinner was a bit slow but the food was ok. There was a well stocked bar inside the restaurant too.Stay and Play for 2 days was also a good deal.Since we reached the park at around 2:30 on the first day and were covering the park at a very leisurely pace we could not complete all the attractions on the first day itself. So next day we checked out of the hotel and kept the luggage in their cloak room and then hit the park for another 2 hours. There were a lot of disney characters moving around in the lobby area also with whom you could photograph yourself so if you are staying in the hotel there is no need to queue up for meeting Disney characters at the park. All in all was quite satisfied with the stay.

Celebrated my birthday with an overnight stay with 3 other friends at this posh hotel, Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel is truly old American in design with a superb Chinese restaurant (Crystal Lotus). Stay at the Kingdom Club level (Level 7) for a more personalized ambiance with complimentary breakfast, snacks, high tea service and cordials. You can also get a great view of the 8PM fireworks display from the balcony. The Victorian Spa is nice, but lacked the personalized service for the price range that they offer. Hire an S-Class Mercedes Benz to whisk you to the airport for a glamorous ending to a memorable stay.

Everything about this hotel is worth writing about and everything is excellent. Let's go on each point one by one:
1. Location: It's far out from the city but then you don't stay here if you have come for work in Hong Kong city. It's 5 minutes bus drive from the Park. You couldn't have it any better.
2. Surroundings: Green foliage all around. Coming from Dubai this was like going to a tropical rain forest. But that aside the trees and the greenery was just awesome. We got a garden facing room and for the only time during the trip my wife said- the view is nice! Kind of made up for the whole trip.
3. Service: Staff is very courteous. Difficult to imagine people can be like this. The service was excellent- at check in- Katy was very polite and helpful, room service, housekeeping, restaurants- Taka in the breakfast place, concierge services every one was great.
4. Food: The breakfast is nice, though a little steep. But the Disney characters moving about more than make up for it. The kids loved Mickey, Goofy and Pluto - we got tired eventually of the photographs we took. The spread in the breakfast is very large. The banana bread is amazing. We had dinner in the lobby restaurant and surprises of all surprises they had north Indian food- the kids were longing for something which could be near home cooked food- and this hit the spot. Again the service here was exceptional.
5. Disney Store: If you forget to buy anything in the Park then can buy it from the in-house Disney store.
6. Park: The Park is unlike the Paris DL. It's small and has kiddy rides only- in other words it's manageable and perfect. There was no rush and we did Dumbo the Flying Elephant twice- can't beat that. Last time in Paris stood in line for 45 minutes for a 3 minute ride. Did the Mad Hatter's Tea Cups thrice- within 15 minutes. Just awesome. Easy to meet the characters, can stand in the front to watch the parade- can't think of anything bad about this DL.
