I stayed four nights at the Cosmo earlier this month. The shuttle from the Airport Express station was a little confusing, as the Cosmo is essentially a baby brother hotel for the Cosmpolitan. From this other hotel, you have to walk up a little alley to the Cosmo. Once there though the staff was super friendly and my room on the 23rd floor was everything I needed it to be: comfortable, city view, free wifi. I didn't dine at the hotel, but I did have a beer at the bar. The bar was pretty empty and moderately creepy.

The only downside to this hotel is the location: you're just outside of the center of Wan Chai district and while you're within walking distance of many places, it's not the easiest walk. I ended up cabbing for under two km on multiple occasions from restaurants 'in the neighborhood' to avoid the super-busy avenues you have to walk across to reach the hotel. But I definitely recommend this as a comfortable hotel for a short stay in Hong Kong.

Dear Eric

Thank you for staying with us. Your comment on the shuttle service from the Airport Express station is well-noted, we will definitely look into this issue and find the best way to improve the service. While Cosmo Hotel is located just 8-minute away from the nearest Causeway Bay subway station, with public transports like buses, trams and taxies also available at the doorstep; we hope you had the chance to try our complimentary shuttle service that brings guests to 15 major destinations in a hassle-free way. Also, be sure you seek our Concierge’s for the best dining recommendations on your next visit as there are many nice eateries and local shops within 2-3 mins walk from the hotel. That said though, we are sorry to know that Nooch Bar was not to your liking as we do have guests telling us how much they enjoyed our signature cocktails, please rest assured that we will review with management for further improvement in the future. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Close to wan chai metro, star ferry and tram stops, walking distance to Times Square and buses from the front of the hotel - location perfect for a short stay in Hong Kong. Easy to get to Lan Kwai Fong for an evening out or across to Kowloon for the lights.

Staff were friendly and helpful and decent breakfast buffet. Rooms not huge but adequate for a 4 night stay.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The staffs were very friendly and helpful at all times. The room however was small, the carpet and the washroom were dirty. We did enjoy the complimentary shuttle bus service provided the neighbouring hotel. Also did not like the fact that there were no wifi in the room.

A great little gem in the heart of the Hong Kong-island. Great staff, good service and high quality rooms. Close to a good restaurant in the sister hotel Cosmopolitan. Loved the Breeze-terrass with free wi-fi and complimentary coffee and tea.

Room Tip: Pay a little extra for cityview. It was truly spectacular.

I needed a twin room last week when a friend had an early flight out of Hong Kong. The location was convenient. The room was small but comfortable and clean. The layout was a little odd (a couch facing the bathroom) but over-all, no complaints. The bed was comfortable. We stayed on the sixth floor which was ideal as the fifth floor has an outdoor terrace (good for smokers) where we brought our own drinks from a nearby 7eleven. There were complimentary coffee and tea facilities in a little kitchenette just inside the terrace. If I need a hotel in Hong Kong again I would go back. - Oh, and if you're here for the horse racing, you couldn't get much closer to the track.

Room Tip: 5 floor is apparently the only one with wifi but may be a little noisy as that's also where the...

We stayed here for three nights recently. The hotel was in a good location and great value for money. The room was very small, not much larger than our double bed with a frosted glass pane for our window. However given the location and price this seemed to represent good value for money and so much cheaper than the hotels in Central. Only a £3 cab fare from Central. No wi-fi in rooms was irritating tho, it was possible but for a fee.
