Yes this hotel is located at one of the tourist spot (causeway bay) - one of the reason why myself and family chose it, but let me tell you how disappointed I was about the rooms and service we received. The room was tiny, you can barely swing a cat in it! The view from our room faced the cemetery. We had to close the blind during day light! We asked to speak with the Manager Alan Chan to see whether there was a possibility of us changing our room and we was told that he was too busy to see us. We were left gobsmacked, the front house didn't seem to care less what we thought!!! We were happy to pay the additional cost but was not offered any choice - It was either you like it or lump it situation.
If your looking for good customer service with warm welcoming smile, be sure you won't get it here! A big disappointment! I shall not be returning here again when I next visit HK!!!

Dear Ying,
Thank you for your feedback. We regret to know that the customer service provided didn’t meet your expectation this time. Guest satisfaction is always one of our top priorities, please rest assured that your message has been brought to the attention of the management and training will be reinforced to all the front line staff to ensure friendly and welcoming service to be extended anytime. Room wise, though there are a few rooms facing the beautiful historical churchyard, most of our rooms come with spectacular city view. I hope the next time you will have the chance to try our suites which measure 83 sq. m. to enjoy a more spacious and pleasant stay. Once again, thank you for your valuable comments and we hope to welcoming you again in the near future.

Very centrally located in Wanchai. Great staff, very attentive and helpful. The staff helps you get around, takes good care of your luggage as well as smooth checkin. The rooms are very small but clean and comfortable. All in all a comfortable and centrally located hotel with great staff. The rooms are extremely small though making the bathrooms really uncomfortable!

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, nothing was too much trouble.
The staff at the front desk especially Alan Chan the Senior Guest Services Manager were charming, most helpful and a mine of information regarding sightseeing, transport links and shuttles. If there was anything they did not know they would make a point of finding out and informing you.
The location was great and all the various means of public transportation were located nearby. We stayed in a superior room 601 at the front of the hotel near the lift and were not disturbed by any traffic noise both outside or inside that other reviews have commented on.
Comfortable room, compact bathroom with a powerful shower.
Buffet breakfast combination of eastern and western, enabled us to sample different cuisines.
The free coffee in the Breeze patio on the fifth floor was a nice touch especially at the end of a long day sightseeing and shopping.
On checking out our luggage was securely stored, enabling us to do some last minute shopping before our flight departure. A shuttle to the airport was arranged by reception at very short notice which was much appreciated.
We would recommend this hotel to family and friends

This hotel is located near to one of the tourist spot (causeway bay), which is the main reason for me to stay here. mtr station was within walking distance too. That makes my trip a lot easier. They also provide shuttle bus to send customers to certain spots in causeway bay.

The staff at front desk were friendly and helpful too. Check in process was smooth and fast. The room I stayed was not very spacious, but it was clean and nicely decorated. It was comfortable for a solo guy like me, but I'm not sure the room is comfortable enough to fit in more than one guy.

Overall it was a good experience to stay in this hotel.

We stayed for three nights and found the hotel very good for our purposes. On the front desk was particularly helpful with his advice on where to go and what to see in such a short time. Rooms are perfect if you just needed a place to sleep,

Two standard rooms at Hotel Cosmo met the requirements of two "older adults!" and two in their twenties extremely well. We stayed for nine nights and found beds and pillows some of the best we have experienced and comfortable and compact room sufficed for all our needs.Initially did contemplate an upgrade but decided not necessary. Public transport availability amazing and free shuttle bus at Cosmopoliton one minute down road was used frequently as was the gym. Two Michelin Star (cheap) local restaurants in walking distance, Wan Chai market close and great value for money, local swimming pool three minutes away, bus stop to Victoria Peak nearby, Happy Valley race course across the road, Wan Chai ferry terminus close and Times Square shopping complex about 10 minutes walk away. Easy to find quality Asian and Western restaurants and take away. Staff were extremely helpful and room was always spotless. Showers had strong water pressure , Wifi on fifth level fast and easy to access and free coffee at the Breeze was the best tasted in the holiday. We would definitely stay here again as it is great value for money, staff are accommodating and helpful and instead of being stuck in the middle of the teeming tourists in Nathan road you can enjoy a cultural experience with the locals as well as a comfortable place to sleep. Loved it!!

Second time staying here and it's still as great as ever. While to some travellers the rooms may be considered small, on a Hong Kong standard, they're actually the norm - take it from someone who's lived there.

I would say their rooms are perfect if you just needed a place to sleep, have a shower and change clothes. Given that my friends and I had booked our room a minimum of 30 days in advance, we were given free daily breakfast and free-ish wifi in the room (I say free-ish because we just had to pay a daily service charge rate of HK$12). We only had breakfast there once but not because it was bad but because we usually went out for local fare.

While some may thing the hotel is not in the best of locations, it's actually not that bad if you know a few "tricks". The bus down from the Peak stops just across the street, you can catch the Ting-Ting (tram) to Causeway Bay, Central or Admiralty to catch the MTR or take a short 10 min walk to Times Square for shopping in Causeway Bay or just to catch the MTR.

If you're looking for a place that's comfortable but maybe not needing all the frills like room service, they I would definitely recommend Cosmo Hotel.

Room Tip: For groups of three, you should definitely take the triple studio
