We got this hotel for $60.00USD and this was more than we asked for. Rooms fit 2 big medium-sized luggages. There were shelves but some were way up. The tub and the rest of the bathroom were clean. Very Clean. That was important.

Ayi was cleaning early the following morning so I told her if she could stop the vacuum cleaner bec it was noisy and she did. *yeayyy* The hallways smelled clean. The sheets were clean.

Regarding the location... yeaaaaah. The MTR station was far, BUT! They have free shuttle to TImes Square and Causeway Bay which we took advantage of. It also has a Bus Stop right in front of the hotel and we took that when we went to the Pacific Place area to eat. Also took the bus to the heart of Wanchai. Fast, convenient and economical.
We took a cab back home from Central and it quite a quick ride.

There's nothing around. We went to have a walk one night and realized, behind the hotel was a cemetery!!! *ieekkkk*** But its ok. We just had a few drinks at the bar below where drinks were reasonably priced. We'll stay there again in a few months! See you soon Cosmo! <3

Stayed in this hotel from Feb 26 to Mar 2. Had a pleasant experience over-all. Prior to our arrival in HK, I requested for a smoking room with a window view. That request was excellently responded to by the hotel staff.

The room is clean and is fairly new. When I asked for a flat iron and an adapter at 4 in the morning, they promptly brought it up to our room.

There was just a bit of inconvenience that we experienced. We arrived at the Hong Kong Airport Express station in the early evening. We looked for the hotel shuttle bus, but it was a bit confusing because there's really no clear sign that will direct you to where you have to wait for the free shuttle bus. We waited for about an hour before the bus arrived. And then when the bus arrived, there was just enough space for the two of us and there were other people who were waiting at the station for the bus.

One more thing, it's true that the hotel shuttle bus is available at the nearby Cosmopolitan. However, we go back to the hotel at a later time in the evening and the bus is available anymore. In the morning, it is convenient to take the public buses. The bus stop is just literally a few steps away. I just didn't have the chance to find out which public bus we should take, say from Causeway Bay in order for us to get off at that same bus stop.

I would recommend this hotel if you want to get away from the noise of the city. The area seems to be a little less busy. And it is really obvious that they care about their guests and reputation.

The noise from neighboring rooms won't bother you when they are away. The musty smell on the room can be easily masked with an air freshener you can buy at a local drug store.

The biggest problem is that it is NOT walking distance to the MRT subway line. While HK cabs are cheap, getting one at this location is difficult. I tried several times to hail a cab at 9:00am. After 30 minutes (and I am not exaggerating) I took the complimentry shuttle van to the Times Square shopping center just so that I could get a cab. This is a serious problem.

There are really no local restaraunts or convenience stores nearby. The 7-11 is reached by walking up the hill, crossing the street, turning right, going down the flights stairs, walking a block, turning left, going another block, and then turning right. It's do-able but a challenge.

DON'T spring for the breakfast (HK$120) as it is negligable/minimal. You are not going to get bannanas or watermellon or an omlet. Expect toast, a cup of yogurt, two types of fruits, gruel, orange juice and four steamers that magically produce stale and soggy mystery ex-food items.

Internet is HK$120 a day...it is ONLY complimentry in the bar.

Thank you for your comments. To ensure guest a pleasant stay, hotel rooms are vacuumed daily, sterilized periodically and room fragrance is originally used only to ignite guest’s senses. However, we understand that personal preference varies, especially for aroma. You are welcome to inform our guest services manager who will always be delighted to arrange you another room upon request. While traffic congestion is common in Hong Kong during peak hour, our hotel is centrally located midway between the bustle Causeway Bay and Wan Chai with subway station accessible within 8 minutes walk and free shuttle bus connecting to 14 locations along the Hong Kong Island. Alternatively, public buses to the major business hub like Central and Admiralty are also available on the hotel’s doorstep.

For restaurants and groceries, Time Square mega shopping mall is only an 8 minute stroll from the hotel. Apart from this, a bountiful of bistros is also located in the hotel’s vicinity. Our guest services manager are always at hand to offer suggestions.

As for breakfast, menus rotate from time to time featuring pastries, made-to-order egg of your choice, hot dishes, Asian specials like noodles, dim sum and many more. We however thank you for your comments and will look into variety to offer.

Internet is available for free at all hotel public area including lobby, Breeze on the 5/F and Nooch Bar. Reasonably priced rate plans are available for in-room use. Thank you.

Just returned from holiday to Cosmo. Great hotel, very friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Rooms were not as small as expected after reading other reviews, have stayed at much more expensive hotels with smaller rooms before in otherr countries. Ideal location, excellent sister hotel Cosmopolitan, also excellent staff and very good courtesy bus service. Free internet in lobby and free coffee, Would definately recommend this hotel. As first time visitors we enjoyed a brilliant holiday. Thanks Cosmo.

It was our first time in the fantastic city, Hong Kong. We stayed at Cosmo for 12 days and we loved it. The hotel lobby was cozy and the consieres/ bellboy were so friendly and very helpful. They help you with everything. We got upgraded to superior room and the room were tidy and nice. In 5th floor you find Breeze, an outdoor area, were you can sit down and relax with free coffe or tea, and with wireless internett. The breakfast was ok. 1 min from the hotel is cosmopolitan hotel and from here you can take the free shuttlebus to Time Square ( 5min walk), to different malls, to the airport station and to different MTR stations. If you use the MTR you can travel around all off Hong Kong. It`s fast and very cheap. Thank you for a pleasant stay and if were comming back to Hong Kong we will definity stay at COSMO.

My friend and I searched high and low for a good deal. The Cosmo looked amazing. Clean and modern and what we were after. As we pulled up to the hotel in our taxi we were excited about what we saw. It could have not been more different to what we anticipated. The room was tiny and we could not even store our luggage successfully as there was no room to put it. The room was run down. The AC had been left on and the bed linen was bordering on damp because of it. You also had to pay for Wifi in your room although there was free Wifi in the lobby .We were both very disappointed.

We paid $120HK for breakfast which is not that nice either so our overall stay was not that good. There must be better value for money in Hong Kong.
