We were recommended this hotel by a friend which was a great recommendation ax it was first stop of a 3 city tour in Asia. It is easy to find if you take the metro from the airport and take the central escalator and you are in the middle of Soho close to all the shopping and to STar ferries. etc

the rooms are not to big but make you feel you are in asia which we enjoyed very much. The higher you are the better the view between buildings.

We did not eat at the hotel but we did hear the food was very good.

The staff were very accommodating and gave us many good ideas. My wife had an in room massage which was fantastic.

Our travel agents suggested this hotel, as we were only in Hong Kong for a couple of nights before moving on to Sydney. Our room was very nice, and it looked like it had been refurbished recently. We had asked for a higher room so that we could have a view of the harbour, and that is what we got. The complimentary bowl of fruit and bottle of wine was a nice touch, and completely unexpected. Although the room was not very big, it was just right for my wife and I, and the shower was really powerful. Which is just what we needed after having traveled for a long time.
There is a small courtyard where you can get free tea, coffee and water, which is open all day.
The breakfast is adequate, although not the best I have ever had. We needed a cab to get us to the Causeway to pick up a trip and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, getting us a cab in no time at all.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel for anyone wanting a short stay in a very good location.

Room Tip: Ask for a higher room at the front for a view of the harbour.

Advised by travel agent as reasonably priced and central location which it was. Rooms at the front have a view of the harbour between other large buildings. The higher rooms not surprisingly have better views. The rooms are small but ours was recently refurbished in chinese style and was very comfortable. There is a quiet courtyard with free tea and coffee and water open all day which made a pleasant retreat. Breakfast was fine -both european and Chinese. The surrounding streets are steep so although it is an easy walk to buses trams and ferries for people without mobility issues it would not be ideal for elderly travellers.

Room Tip: higher up at front

Hotel has an old world Chinese appeal but rooms are small and somewhat run down. Great shower though which is not usual in HK. Hard to get a taxi from here as well and impossible if it is raining! Small gym but modern equipment, only 3 or 4 people can use at a time. Breakfast buffer is very limited, no custom egg station so what you see is what you get.

This hotel was picked for location and relatively low cost vs. bigger hotels for a group of about 40. The footprint is tiny, like much of HK; reception area and waiting rooms each on ground floor were about 20' x 20'. Staff was good, well trained. Rooms are very small and generally tired, the facility is overdue for a rehab, but satisfactory for now. It is located on a very steep, very narrow street and there is no room for a large vehicle to pick up a large group of people, you have to walk down a very steep grade about 100' to a wider street to get to a bus. Breakfast buffet was OK, but if you can wait until 8:30 to eat, there is a small restaurant across the street, the Bee Two at less than half the price. Be sure to tell them if you don't want mustard sprayed over your food, otherwise you'll get a good helping of it.

Room Tip: ask for dimensions of room when reserving.

This hotel is not owned by the Rombus chain. Our travel agent made a mistake and booked this hotel for a group I was taking to Hong Kong in June. Thank goodness I went to inspect this hotel in May because it was not at all suitable for the group I was taking. The rooms are so small there is no way we could have had two girls sharing the one room. It might be okay for a couple but the bathrooms are like broom closets. The hotel is in a part of town that is surrounded by building sites so it is duty and dirty and the exterior of the building is not inviting.
Boy was I glad I went to inspect the hotel before bringing the group to Hong Kong.
If you are looking for somewhere just to sleep and don't plan to spend anytime in the hotel maybe it would be okay but not the sort of place I could recommend to anyone.

Like many other reviewers, our taxi also took us to the other LKF, and then the second one struggled to find the hotel!
Once we arrived, the reception staff were friendly & helpful. We had a high room, which means we had a great view over Hong Kong and had a nice bottle of Australian red waiting for us as we were on honeymoon. Our room was a corner harbour view one with views on 2 sides. No complaints about it at all. A little oriental looking, to cofirm the fact that we were in HK, but generally just a reasonable comfortable hotel room.

I have to say, we avoided the restaurant due to the many negative reviews on this site, so cannot comment on it. The lounge with free Wifi was fine but a little odd. A nice space with free water, tea and coffee, but I can't help thinking a bar would have made all the difference!

Good centrally located hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for one high up.
