“With nice and clean room”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 January 2013

We stayed here for a night after spending 2 days in Disney resort. All my requests were granted- room on lower level, late check-in and queen size bed. And to my surprise, they upgraded our room.

The room was nice and clean, with spacious comfort room, but no nearby area to hang out except for the grocery store and few restaurants at the first level.

I was a bit shocked to learn that the hotel is far from the city, food supply bought at 7/11 and sandwich was freezed and not good to eat, it is not advisable to stay here if u want a relaxing or short trip in HK. There's no free WIFI, no charger, no free bottled water, and no free stockage of luggage after check-out. Not good to recommend....sorry, they (admin.) must looked into this.

Room Tip: very far and bad food. No free wifi / charger , even the stock luggage has fee for every bag, all a...

We only stayed there one night. The hotel was OK, we slept pretty good. But it is hard to reach and quite far from the action. If you want to explore Hong Kong it would be better to get a hotel with a better location.
The staff was helpful.

If there is absolutely nothing else available in the neighborhood then maybe really as last resort. I booked this hotel last minute as most of my favorites places were full due to a convention in Hong Kong. This place is very bizarre, I don’t know if it was a previous apartment building transformed into a hotel or a previous retirement home. Imagine 15 tall apartment buildings in a complex and one tower is a hotel. All is designed for the elderly or the handicapped! The restaurant/bar is a joke; the hotel is full with 99.9 % very loud Chinese middle age groups from mainland China going on their first trip overseas ever! The room is very small and we had two single beds that were almost identical to the bunk beds I had in the military 40 years ago. There is a pool but to be shared with the entire complex; however no one was there, besides the life guard. Also the internet was a surprise; it’s available for the amount of 480 HKD per 24 hours or +/- 60 USD. Someone needs to explain me this. The place is in the middle of nowhere on an Island surrounded by absolutely nothing and even taxis don’t want to pick you up? The only plus is that if you take the elevator to the – 3 floor you are strait in a mini supermarket where you can buy almost anything F & B. If you manage to get to the TSING YI station complex then you’re back into civilization with zillions of restaurants and a huge ultra modern shopping mall. Personally I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and don’t worry with 1.4 Billion Chinese on the other side of the border I doubt they need additional business. I took a few pictures for the fun.

Room Tip: Choose another hotel !

Let me start with the hotel description... a bunch of tall buildings right next to Rambler Channel (meant for container ships), far far from the city or downtown areas. Rooms were small and sheets not clean at all however the mattresses were new to my surprise. Check in was rather smooth as we booked through an agent but communicating anything else was quite a task due to lack of spoken English at reception. (also true for most of HK). Room was very small but good enough for sleep and short stay, TV is quite an excuse.. an old CRT with few channels on it and kept on the window sill to the side of the bed and never watched, bath was small but reasonably clean.. pls carry own toiletries if possible. Never bothered to check out the hotel swimming pool and sky garden as HK had many better things to do.
The plus points or less negative points are its quite close to the airport, and Disneyland, also there is a continuous Minibus service (88F for Tsing Yi MTR station) from right outside the hotel on Level 5 which takes only 10 mins to the station... from there all points of interest are easily reachable and manageable however HK does seem to have way too much walking inside MTR even while changing between lines.
For food options, there is a decent Cafe Coral on L1 and few stores which sell chips and drinking water but ended up having most meals at Maritime Square mall (above Tsing yi MTR) and other food joints at places of interest.
Wouldnt really stay here again and would choose something in Kowloon area or off Nathan road if possible. Stay here only if on very tight budget or short trip.

Room Tip: Ask for a higher floor (20 and above) which will have lesser noise from the container ships... and i...

Check in was alright. Booked 2 rooms and my room was fine but small. And as for the other room, it was smaller and the air con was leaking. Although there are no restaurants located IN the hotel but if you take the lift down to the 1st floor, there are 2 cafes where you can have your 3 meals. And please take note that there are a lot of Mainland China people staying here and they can get rather loud sometimes.. And oh, beware of the housekeeping staff. They came in to my room thinking there is no people inside but we are inside. She apologized and left. Guess the coordination between the front desk & housekeeping are not good.

Please note that the use of swimming pool requires money and if I am not wrong, it is HKD100 and it closes at 6pm so I think it's not worth paying for using the pool.

As for the accessibility, this hotel is located far away from the main island. If you wish to go to Mongkok via Taxi, the fare will be about HKD80 which is cheap as first 2km is capped at HKD20. One good thing is that Disneyland & airport is located near to the airport.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
Very tiny rooms, no restaurant, no bar and an appalling location.
You have. To get a ticket & then an Armband to use the pool which is only open from 1pm - 6pm.
The sky garden closes at 8pm so if you fancy a glass of wine you have to drink it in your tiny room sitting on the bed.
A truly BAD experience
