Well it wasn't as bad as we expected. It's near a small shopping complex where you can purchase basic things. The view is also bad and it's somehow far from the city. The breakfast is not worth waking up early for.
Big,huge mistake to get this hotel. Tremendous bed factory for mainland chinese hordes .(no other word, sorry) Really bad and not at all educated people who are noisy, smoke inside and outside the rooms,in front of your door and shout and yell the whole night ,and slam the doors frequently. They spit in the lifts and on any western moral and etiquette. There are more words for those people but TA would certainly not publish the review...so just imagine some adjectives and nouns...The hotel takes their money and does nothing but saying they are mainlanders....so what? 95 us for this hotel is a gigantic rip-off. This 30 -floor - and - like-400 rooms -cave would be immediately closed in any other place. In Australia it would never be open in the first place...but ok.Very unfriendly, rude, barbaric guests all that around your 10m2 room with 1985 tv and prison-like furniture. Australia network was the only good thing about the whole place.I should sue the operator for this disgusting place.. Something positive? i started a big scandal after two hours i tried to sleep and these people didnt let you..so you turn irritated and aggressive,,i demanded to talk to a supervisor,to get the money back .no money back, lots of apologies and i actually got a real room, yes they have it,nice to know ,on the other side of the building.like 23 m2 or 250sqft, double size, real windows and no barbaric hordes. After this i really felt ripped off even more.never again.this hotel is miserable.have you ever seen the movie metropolis from the 1920s? That is the atmosphere. Terrible, indeed.
Hmmm... Clean sheets and bathroom at least. Receptionist or would you call it Camp Kommandant?never smiling, what a huge difference to Bangkok where everyone was friendly and educated.....and then that view.....Sad,sad view to the dull container terminal. So grey, so melancholy-inspiring.Bahhhh... I booked for 3 days and cancelled after one ,even whe you have to pay 300 us and up for a real hotel. This is no hotel,friends...this is a prison camp . Do not go to this place, do youself a big favour.you will ruin and spoil 100% your holidays....for sure. A no no no no-go never ever even think of it-go -hotel:) for 15 us bearable for 100 us a scam.unbelievable.
Outstandingly bad !
Stayed in this hotel for one night as I was on transit. From HKIA it is about 30 minutes by taxi and comes up to roughly HKD200 including toll. Clean and neat hotel. No free wifi in the room, only in the lobby. Taxis are easily available or you can get the receptionist help you call for one. There is also a bus stop down the road. Hotel provides shuttle to Tsing Yi MRT station for free but an advance booking is preferred as it might be full at times. The only drawback is that there are only 2 elevators and they are pretty small. If there are many guests you have to wait for some time and also the Mainland guests that stays there tends to be noisy even at late night or early morning.
We we rather worried after reading the reviews for this hotel. However, reading reviews helped us to set our expectations low. This helped a lot.
Cleanliness: Very Good.
In Room Telephone : Don't depend on it for messages. It does not work.
Overall Room Comfort : Very good & spacious ( for HK standards)
Bed & Linen : Very Clean.
Bath room & Toilet : Very Good & Hot water is there 24/7
Lifts : Bit delayed & Crowded in the morning. ( Since all guests rush to catch their morning coach to Disney or Kowloon tours)
Access : Very Good. Taxis are there always. Paid Buses are available from 7am to 11pm to the nearest MTR. Can pay by Octopus cards. Taxi from city would set you back by 120-140.
We were on the 26th Floor- no noise from the near by Port & Containers.
Very near to Airport & Disney.
We found it difficult to get Indian Veg Food in the food court.(that is the case in all of HK). There was bread toast+ tea. 7/11 store is very useful(at the basement).
As soon as you land in HK, buy your Octopus cards.
The room is small but nice and clean. The bad thing is the location. It's far away from everywhere. You can find some cabs in front of the hotel or you can use the mini buses in the next building .There are some small shops near that hotel like Seven Eleven.
Its a very neat hotel...a high rise hotel with an overlooking view of the Hongkong logistics area..The front desk officer are accommodating..as well as the housekeeping people ...some might not understand english language, but they are much helpful to there guest..a hotel to stay when you visit Hongkong.
