We went for a Birthday dinner - and the place is fit for the special occasion dinner. The ambiance is soothing, the lighting is the right kind of dim, with gentle music in the background. The place fills up nice and quick after 730 pm and a buzz fills the air.
We tried a couple of teas, the mocktails ( called Mott-tails) and a range of starters and mains.
The teas are a hit :) we specially loved the Supreme Phoenix tea. The Mott-tails are gentle and not too sweet.
We loved the Peking duck mango salad. Crispy abalone was lovely too. We tried a couple of other dishes too which are pretty good.
The winner for us was the gorgeous dessert- Raspberry pancotta.
The service is fantastic and well paced. You don’t feel hurried and just when you are ready for the next round, someone appears by your side.
I would like to try this place for a weekday lunch sometime to hopefully catch the quieter wide of this place. It is very tastefully put together for sure.
Tables for all groups are available - ranging from places for 2 to groups of 10.
