“Small portions, tastes ok”
Reviewed 16 June 2014

I eat there every now and then since I live nearby. I was disappointed at first because of all the crazy good reviews I read about the place, but it's not so good that you will dream about it for the next week and the portions are small, but it is also cheap and tastes decent.
I usually have the shrimp dumpling noodles or the pork noodles.

“Worth a visit”
Reviewed 28 April 2014 via mobile

Definitely worth a visit if you are in the vicinity. Noodles were slightly tough by our Malaysian standards but the wantons and dumplings (sui gau)were to die for.
Service by the waitress was ghastly (not unusual in hk), but there was a gentleman at the counter who was warmer and speaks good english

“Just average...”
Reviewed 25 December 2013

I think their noodles are a bit soggy. Service is good. Space is tight and limited. They are also famous for their desserts although I find it pretty average.

There are better noodle shops in HK.

“Don't know what the fuss is about”
Reviewed 27 September 2013

I've tried a lot of noodles since arriving in Hong Kong two months ago and noodles from here didn't seem anything special. I can't see why this phase deserved a Michelin star. Although the noodles were very chewy, this just made them difficult to eat.

The restaurant is basic and staff were a little abrupt - even by Hong Kong standards.

I definitely won't be returning.

“you gotta try this”
Reviewed 1 August 2013

the best wonton noodle, period. Size of serving is pretty small, but it is the quality that you cannot miss. Their noodles is still made with the traditional way by using a huge bamboo rod. Not many places still do it and it makes all the difference. Also try their dessert. I tried the almond paste one and it is very good.
