This little cozy bar tucked in one of the alleys of kuta is a hidden gem. If you're looking for a bar where you can mingle with both locals and down-to-earth expats and foreigners (note.. Not your chi-chi luxury tourist), this is the bar to go to. It's laid-back atmosphere makes Su's bar your friendly neighborhood joint to learn about the local lifestyle and share travel experiences. A night at Su's bar is not complete if you did failed to fill your system with the legendary 'jungle juice' - a potent cocktail containing the local spirit, arak. If you get the munchies in the middle of your drinking session, there is an awesome sate (Balinese kebabs served with peanut sauce) stall just next door. Just ask the owners, Joshua or wayan, to help order the food if you're too drunk to order it on your own. In a nutshell, Su's bar is an awesome place to spend the night away from the incessant beats of the clubs along the main kuta strip, chilling with friends and strangers.
