This enterprise is a tribute to the talents of local Lovina women and has been set up through the initiative of a Western Australian woman. The aim is to generate income for women in need and is already discovering some fantastic talent.
The quality of the hand quilting is amazing; such a high standard for beginners. I must admit I had been expecting a somewhat amateurish set up, given the relatively short period of operation and was surprised at the work being produced. Beautiful hand quilted vests in traditional batik, patchwork placemats, table runners and t-shirts to name a few. The only downside I could see for this burgeoning business enterprise is the location. It is tucked away in a laneway, in the midst of a small business hub and could be easily missed. Take the time to look for the sign post on the main Lovina/Kaliasam road and pay a visit ... you won't be disappointed.
