I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The rooms were large and clean with a large bathroom. Fast in-room internet and cable TV. There are a few different restaurants to choose from (watch out during Ramadan because the restaurant hours are limited). There is a very nice gym and a running train on the grounds along with a 50 meter swimming pool. I enjoyed the cigar bar on-site, but did not like the attached night club. There are much better night clubs away from the hotel. The hotel is close to all of the embassies, but it is away from the night life and shopping. If you arrange for it ahead of time the hotel will arrange for airport pickup.

We always stayed in the lovely renovated Classic room, Pool is Olympic size massive, gardens is still nice, breakfast is ok, their legendary soup buntut is always recommended, for the value, Borobudur is still a nice choice to stay

I was staying at the hotel to attend some business meetings arranged in the Hotel. The restaurants and public rooms seemed to be keeping pace, service was quite acceptable, however the hotel bedrooms I am afraid have seen better days and are showing distinct signs of wear, questionable taste and budget constraints. Location too, whilst central conspired to be essentially a "Taxi ride" to anywhere that you may wish to be. Churchill Pub proving a smoky disappointment, Bruscetta restaurant a surprising success.

I would give this 5 star hotel a 4 star rating as no major wow factor but all in all good value, great dining(although breakfast limited), front desk very helpful and knowledgeable.

Only complain internet rates are too high and needs FREE WIFI as well as iron and ironing board in the rooms.

we stayed here during the recent end of Ramadan holiday and the hotel was full. Nevertheless they coped completely with the huge crowds. The pool and gym is beautiful, the staff so friendly, rooms excellent, clean with a magnificent view over the pool. It was easy to get there from the airport as everyone was on holiday but I'm told the traffic can be heavy so the hotel's location is another bonus!

We ate at two of the restaurants and both were excellent.

The tropical grden is immense and lovely

Room Tip: As in any hotel the higher rooms offer the best view, although the delightful garden (it's huge!) with its walking track would also be nice to look out on
