Mulia is almost perfection. The room is big and tastefully decorated. The hotel is very luxurious and always someone around to assist you.

As your typical business traveller I liked the fast internet, breakfast and efficient taxi service.

I will always stay here when I'm in Jakarta.

Though the room price isn't exactly budget, but you do get what you pay for.

Nothing to complain about. Clean, modern and efficient five-star luxury hotel in central location. The rooms are modern and spacious (and the beds are comfortable), breakfast is really good (selection enormous), gym is spacious, clean and modern, bars and restaurants are good and lively, and business services really good (especially the executive lounge privileges!). All in all better than many of the other top hotels in Jakarta. Will most probably stay here again next time in Jakarta.

I am very jaded when it comes to 5-stars in Asia, but the Mulia was actually an excellent example of how it should be done. Roomy, plush rooms, a fantastic breakfast buffet, great restaurants on site. All amenities you could ask for. I didn't leave the hotel for 8 days straight due to long working days, and it didn't feel oppressive at all. For a business traveller, it's pretty much perfect. Note that the hotel rooms are 100% non-smoking, but smoking is allowed in the bars - bit odd.

Hotel Mulia is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at for friendly, efficient staff (who all seemed to know my name within 12 hours!), superb, well-equipped rooms and a terrific Executive Lounge that was perfect for business. No complaints at all, highly recommended.

We stayed here for one night on Dec 12th 2010.
We knew this hotel had won 'Best hotel of Jakarta' three years in a row.

The standard room is quite big with all the conveniences available: King size bed of good quality, sofa, dining table with two chairs, 37" TV, bad and shower seperate, etc. etc. Quite sleep, although the hotel is on a very busy road in Jakarta. But maybe the silence was also because of the location of the room: on the site of the hotel and on the 9th floor.

The hotel itself is very grandeur. A lot of marble is used and eye for detail is made. The hotel contains about 4 restaurants, a lounge and a bar which is open until 1am and even 2am in the weekend (Friday and Saturday). But you will have to consider that the prices for dining and drinking in this hotel are 'European'.

The surroundings of the hotel is not suburb. There is a very good mall close where you can chose out of numerous restaurants and all kinds of cuisines (Asian, Australian, European (like Italian, French, etc), etc). O yes, the hotel is just across the street of the National Soccer stadium.
