“Quite Good-Need to improve cleanliness”

Ive been to many Aston hotels before, and i got to say this one got the biggest room of all. The location was quite good, (short distance from the airport). The staff service was good, especially one of the male concierge who helped us wrapping our luggage [sorry cant remember ur name :<].

The pool was okay. its was not as big as ive expected but it was clean, and thats enough. the breakfast was quite good, but not many variety, adding few dessert would be very nice.

Red alert for housekeeping department though: they need to improve their standard of cleanlines. because i found that our towel got horrible stain and few stain on our bed sheet.

Overall, we had a good experience, the bed was comfortable, we had a good night sleep. will consider coming back to Aston Pluit again in the future.

No Aircon in lift. No Aircon in hallway outside room. As a result hallways smelled like sewage, ie the outside air.

No answer on houskeeping line. Call to room service for extra sheets, were told to "call house keeping". Call to reception, were told "may be I will call house keeping for you", they didn't.

Good hotel service requires first contact with customers to be the only contact, and that staff should resolve their issue or arrange prompt call back from correct department. Customers dont make mistakes.

Steak ordered well done, delivered rare and bleeding. Simple dessert cost as much as the main meal. Other meals were reasonably prepared and priced.

Breakfast was chaos, forced to stand and wait. Then we were required to instruct staff to clear 2 of the many available tables that weren't cleaned. Had to request again 2 more times to finish cleaning and preparing our table while we stood with meals in our hands. After 5mins I still had to finish clearing the table before our family could sit down. Coffee ran out of milk, had to ask for more. Scrambled eggs ran out, had to ask for more. Customers don't run the restaurant.

This hotel is well presented, comfortable and clean. Staff in general were polite but very disorganised and lacking initiative. Wifi was free and fast.

Issues listed above detracted sufficiently from the enjoyment of our stay that I will try somewhere else next time.

Management please take note of how little effort it would require to change this review to 5 stars.

Stayed twice for overnight stays both times and experienced same issues both times. Rooms are nice & reasonably comfy, wifi is free & reasonably fast. Food quality via room service was ok. Issues were with charges for international phone calls via hotel phone for which connection fees were charged despite the calls not actually being picked up at receiving end. Discussions with night manager both times failed to resolve issues necessitating payment to be made for calls which didnt connect. Wouldnt stay here again...

Stayed for 2 nights at the Aston Pluit Hotel and Residence in Jakarta, the hotel is nice. Though I had a little trouble while checking in... they are very strict about their 2.00 p.m. check in and I had to wait which was the disappointment. However, rooms are nice and clean, good bathrooms. Be careful if you are smoker and smoke in the non-smoking section, there is a fine of USD 200 which I presume the hotel would be serious in collecting. They have a nice pool and breakfast. Didn't get to try their restaurants as I was out every night during my stay at Jakarta. All in all, definitely not a bad stay... I would certainly go back.

Room Tip: Request for a room with a good view. One I got showed me the pool which was nice to look at.

Overall my daughter and I had a wonderful stay in the hotel.It was a great experience,nice welcome ,comfortable bed ,friendly and lovely staff who provided excellent services.I will definitely stay in this hotel again for future trips .

I stayed here when it was still very new. New as aircon on the hallway were still off and elevator was just one that operated. The other one was still full of paint. The hallway was dirty with dust and paint because they were still working on the finishing for the hotel. The front office staff was quite nice speak ok english and took us quite long time before we could got into our room. The room was huge! Nice and comfy. Dislike the blind inside the toilet tho, so hard to pulled off. Breakfast were okay and swimming pool was okay too. It is quite far from city center and we need to walked outside hotel to take taxi as we asked the staff to take taxi for us and they asked us to walked outside and catch taxi by ourselves duh! Hahaha there are 3 shopping malls around. Wouldnt recommend this hotel for longer stay but short stay i think okay as it is close too the airport.

Stayed here for a night for business. The room is huge. It can practically fit 4 people. The room is still new and toilet is clean. All basic amneties are available. Also, breakfast has quite a great selection. There is a mall nearby as well.
My major complain is one: far too many mosquitos in my room. I killed more than ten and they are still flying around. Suspect it is bcause the hotel is still new. Also, they really have a weird payment system. they ask for my credit card 3 times; once when i book online, another when i check in and surprisingly, another one when i check out. i think this is very inconvenient and time consuming. I hope they do something about it.
