We spent a few days staying at the NEO Hotel Mangga Dua in Jakarta and overall we had a good stay.
The rooms were spotless and the hotel staff were all pleasant. However we had a room facing onto the railway tracks which was very noisy - we were given the option and were warned that it would be noisy, so if you want a good nights sleep, steer clear of the rooms with windows!
The bathroom was terrible however. You were unable to have a shower for more than two minutes as the shower 'area' would overflow into the main bathroom and flood the floor. Certainly a design flaw which needs to be looked into.
The hotel was right next to a large Carrefour supermarket which was great. It was also on one of the TransJakarta bus routes which runs between the Ancol theme park and the city centre.
I wouldn't have any reservations about staying in a NEO Hotel again, however if I were to visit Jakarta again I'd certainly stay a bit nearer to the city centre.
