Description: Set in a sophisticated yet relaxed-ambience, C's at Grand Hyatt Jakarta presents the freshest selection of seafood, the finest choice of Japanese, Australian and U.S. Prime Beef. One of the best restaurants in Jakarta, the menu at C’s is simple but by no means simplistic. Emphasis is placed on the freshness of all products used. Eight fish tanks ensure that all the seafood meets the highest quality standard before being prepared Asian style in woks or steamed in traditional bamboo baskets. Prime meat is cooked on a wood fired grill and C’s encourages family-style dining, sharing your meal with friends. Live food preparation is at the heart of the overall ambience and chefs take centre stage as guests enjoy the activities of open kitchens at close range. C’s is also a haven for wine connoisseurs with a 3,000-bottle walk-through cellar providing a great escape from even the toughest day. This casually chic restaurant features two open kitchens, four private rooms and a sweeping view of the lobby. Located on Level 4, C’s is a collage of sights, sounds and smells that will guarantee stimulate your senses. As of 1 October 2015, the smoking area in C's Steak & Seafood restaurant is in Cascade section only.

If you're ready to splurge, then C's is the right place to start in Jakarta. As one of Grand Hyatt's premium restaurants, C's excels in fresh seafood of Western and Asian influences and run by skillful kitchen team led by Norwegian seafood champ, Chef Christer Foldnes.

Been here like around three times and never get tired of it because of its consistency in delivering the best. I was originally impressed with the fresh oysters and that made me want to explore more. A must-try dish here aside from the fresh oysters are fresh/grilled seafood set that consists of lobsters, prawns, crabs and many else.

Just very recently, C's also introduces more from its Chinese side using the hot, steaming wok to make it more exciting. I had my time savoring C's finest ranging from spicy noodles, spicy tofu, frog legs, and also the wonderful yet expensive lamb fried rice that normally costs IDR 458,000! Definitely a treat to remember.

Aside from that, the service is also of high quality and as expected from a 5 star hotel's restaurants. The atmosphere of the restaurant may not feel new anymore but it feels warm and romantic, even during lunchtime! Be sure to book the private room with Bundaran HI view for group dinner.

We started our lunch meeting with a delicious mushroom soup and ordered fish that cooked traditionally with the Indonesian spices. It was also incredible delicious !! The hot chocolate was also thick and just enough sweet to enjoy. The service was excellent and the staff were very nice & kind. Although the price (it is in Grand Hyatt), it is really worthed !

From the moment we walked in, we knew this was going to be a wonderful experience. My wife and I were warmly greeted and escorted to our table, which was in a great spot - intimate but not hidden away. We were brought some complimentary oven fresh bread and the most incredible tomato dip I have ever tasted. The starter we chose (crab cakes) were to die for - moist, flavoursome and served with an incredible mango salsa - amazing! The menu was full of things we would have liked to have tried so we decided to share a meat platter, with steak, ribs, lamb chops, chicken and sausage...along with a couple of sides, it was delicious - especially the ribs! This was a fantastic experience, the staff were incredibly attentive and we could not fault a single thing. We will be back again!

Great selection of food, really well presented, extremely clean, really lovely people, and chefs kindly cater to my requests. I've had steamed fish, chicken and the steak and would recommend all. Deserts are special too.

I come from New Zealand, we have a lot amazing restaurants there too, I don't mind the cost, and consider it reasonable given the value and compared to other international restaurants.

Thank Bruce M
