I lived at Tigalima for almost a year and loved it every day. My room Flores was so beautiful, comfortable, private, quiet, and full of natural light (far from the kitchen and upstairs). The whole compound is safe, lush, and away from the main street so you feel peaceful and relaxed at home. The staff take such a good care of you. The owners are young, open minded, and laid back so you feel at ease. The scooters for rent are excellent (I loved my scoopy!). Many residents are study abroad students, but you also find researchers and expats of various kinds. I highly recommend Tigalima! I will always live there when in Yogya.
