I like this temple because
1. quiet
2. remote
3. less tourist
4. nice scenery
5. sacred with pilgrim "feeling"
I visit this place twice in my trip cause I have time and almost finish explore Yogya attractions, I like to come here for "meditation".

Most of temples around are ruined by earthquakes. This beautiful temple survived and shows history. Very well arranged garden. Very big and tall tree which was motivated to the movie Avatar.

After visited all the big and small temples in yogya, plaosan temple is my second favorite (first is ratu boko which need~10USD entrance fee which is expensive) to come for enjoying the peaceful surrounding.

Smaller than Prambanan temple but equally as amazing. Not fully restored yet either which gives a different perspective of the work that was involved in building these amazing temples. Great for photos as there are no tourists here and they just as for a donation rather than an entry fee.

You can still see the sands within some of the stones piles (the surrounding stupas or temples actually), some of them without the sands, some of them already halfway reconstructed. You can also see 10ish statue on a pendadop, with different levels of reconstructions. The reliefs on the two main buildings also differ but require a close eyes
