My family stayed here for 3 days during our holiday. There was not much review about this hotel, but i just follow my intuition to choose this hotel. And that was a right decision.

I recommended this hotel for affordable stay in Jogja. The room was very spacious and clean. really, it makes me feels like home. The bathroom also very clean, with bathtub and hot water with rice field view. Located in Taman Siswa, not far from Malioboro, everything is reachable. We could found restaurants, beauty salon and laundry near the hotel.

Pan Family also have a beautiful garden, we had breakfast here. You can choose coffee, tea, bread or fried rice for breakfast. Not much, but enough for us.

The owner and staffs also really helpful and nice. We have early flight on 5.30 am in the morning, and they bought us bread and water for our breakfast. They also have car rent to take you to the airport. And they even saying goodbye to us when leaving the hotel.

thank you for pleasant stay here, and definitely will come back.

Pan family hotel was just recommended by a friend who had been there a year ago. This hotel is great place to come back to after a day of touring Yogyakarta. The room is big enough, with large cabinets for your clothes and things. The restroom has a bathtub and equipped with hot and cold shower. The bed is big and comfortable. Free wifi is available from the reception to the garden area.
What I appreciate most aside from the accommodation is that one of the staff let us use his personal cellphone charger for 5 days because my friend's charger isn't working. A+ hospitality!
Hire a car from the hotel that is good for for 10 hours if you want to go to Borobudur, Mt. Merapi and Prambanan, It would be enough to cover the 3 location at a very reasonable price.
If the Tamansiswa Trans-Jogja route becomes operational then Pan Family will be easier to find. Tamansiswa bus station is located across the street going to hotel.
I will definitely recommend Pan Family to all my friends.

Since i knew this place last 2 years ago, I always stay here every time I come to Jogja. The 5 bedrooms in main building come with verandah overlooking the fish pond and rice fields. The bathroom come with a bathtub. Now they have the additional two rooms in a Javanese wooden style building located right next to the fish pond. No bathtub and no back verandah.

Room Tip: My favorite room is room #102. Very spacious with king size bed, the bathtub is bigger than the rooms with twin beds.

We were greeted by a large and clean room with stunning rural view. We love their comfortable beds which gave us a good slumber.

It was heart warming to come back to a cooling room everyday. The staff switched on the air con for us while we were away for the day trip.

The room rate included breakfast. Other than the normal bread and butter and jam, tea and coffee, we were served delicious fried rice for Day 1 and fried noodle for Day 2, followed by cut fruits as dessert.

Pan Family is famous for their kitchen food. We also have our dinner here when we sign up for their tour. We were happy with the food served (3 main dishes, 1 soup, fruits and dessert) at dinner.

Though the hotel is 10 min drive from the main night life at Jln.Maliboro, or 20 min by bechak, it did not bother us at all. The whole road is where few college and Universities situated. Thus food and services (hair saloon) in this area are at student rate.

We were running around the hotel compound as if this is our home away from home. The roof top is great for taking photos of sun rising with Mt. Merapi in the view.

The owner and the family stay on the same compound. It is a family business. The owner and his daughter (in charge of hotel) are very approachable and attentive to our suggestions on improving their service. We had a great time chatting with them.

The tour offer by the hotel is also reasonable. Their staff, Miss Ani was helpful who offer useful advice on where to go and where not to go (e.g. we were advised to go to Borobudur during day time as sunrise view at Borobudur more costly and taking chances during rainy season Dec - May).

Definitely we have no hesitation to stay here again when we return to Jogja.

From, the Leong Sisters.

Room Tip: Go got superior room with a balcony.

Pan Family Hotel is a charming place to spend your holiday in. The poetic beauty of the paddy fields overlooking the hotel, the fish pond and a few ducks and geese soothe your soul.
The staff are extremely helpful. I had long chats with Ichsan, the head staff. Ferdina, the owner's daughter, who looks after the hotel, was extremely welcoming and made us (my wife and I) feel at home. She's one of the best hosts I've ever come across.
The food they served for breakfast was simply scrumptious and every day we had different dishes. It was a memorable stay. Spick-and-span rooms and fragrant bath towels are regular features of the hotel.
It was a real find.
