Very nice place with great view and clean rooms. Great food and good staff. Located in the center of the village. The resturant has a long bar with a view of the terreces. Good value for your money. Have simple rooms & delux with view. Hot water.

Beautiful decorated outside area with an amazing view over town, Serving deliscious local meals and beers. Skip the wine unless you buy a bottle. Good wifi connection. The place looked closed from the outside because of the fence.

I use to come here so often just to enjoy the quiet coffee moment, its so near the market and jeep area but you seem to be far away. Walls are thick enough to give that quiet. The view is great and the resto common area is why i like this place. Done very well. Super nice staff! I miss ana!

We sought out Sanafe based on a Lonely planet recommendation. We arrived early 'fresh' off the overnight bus from Manila and were able to check in and use our room despite it only being 6.30 in the morning. It's situated a short walk from where the bus drops you off, so it's easily accessible.

Sanafe offered great value in the restaurant - we breakfasted on omelettes, and sampled some Filipino dishes for dinner.
The restaurant location is fantastic, overlooking the breathtaking rice terraces of Banaue.

Our room was fine; a standard double. It and comfortable enough. The only downside was that it was rather noisy. Being located on the mountainside above the hustle and bustle of the town meant that we felt we were at the centre of it all early in the evening and morning. I don't doubt that a number of the accommodations in the area have a similar level of noise - just make sure you pack your earplugs.

The staff were great, and Susan(?) particularly was very helpful and knowledgeable about where to get onward transport/tours etc. She sorted out a tricycle driver for the day, Arnold (1100 pesos). He drove us out to Batad, waiting for us to complete the 5/6 hour return trek over the terraces to Tappiah falls and stopping at all the viewpoints to see the different rice terraces in Banaue. (It was our favourite day on our 3 weeks travel holiday in the Philippines)
