DJ's may not have the coziest rooms you can have in Sablayan, but the food prepared by Ate Amy (owner) is the best. You can't expect a 5 star accomodation with the rate Ate Amy is offering but I think for cheap backpackers, this is a good accomodation. Very basic room but the linens are clean, I was able to sleep peacefully during our one night stay.
They laso have huts on top of water, we enjoyed our morning coffee there. They also have good coral reef near the resort. Beware of sea urchins though.
Now the best part of DJ's, the home cooked food. You must request for Ate Amy's ginataang pusit (squid in coconut milk), grilled fish (Ate Amy picks the freshest fish in the market), pork tapa, and Ate Amy's homemade fish sauce (which is great with green mangoes).
TIP: Ate Amy knows a lot of boatman, you can ask her to arrange a day tour to Apo Reef Island. And of course, a packed lunch of Ate Amy's food.
