“Quiet, Nice and worth it!”
Reviewed 21 October 2013 via mobile

We stayed just this weekend (10/18-20).

The place is nice, quiet and away from where those gays are performing.

It's quite a walk from where te best place you can dine on, but we didn't mind that at all.

Rooms are okay, enough for us to rest. Their staff are very kind. The view from this place is way better than of those that are in the middle (where bars and performers are).

Only thing we didn't like is their key is attached to the little thing that powers the room, so when you leave, electricity is shut down as well (to save power)... Though they have cctv around their place, we still manage to find a way to keep the electricty alive even if were not in the room.. :)

We'll be back here for sure! :)

Me and my fiance decided to go to Puerto Galera for a vacation and ince it's still summer peak, it is very hard to find and accommodation. We were escorted by "room hunters" going here, too bad our room was situated far from the shore (around 15-20 meters). We paid P3000 for two nights instead of the usual P3.5k for a room with a bed with a very thin cushion, two flat pillows, aq cable TV , air conditioning and a bathroom with water heater. Good thing about this place is that it has a security camera and hotel personnel roaming around which makes me feel secured. The staff are very accommodating and provided us with precautions to so we won't pay for extra charges like: stained bed sheets, etc.

Stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. For 1,500 a night, I think it was worth it. Our room was located at the annex which looked like a house that they turned into an accommodation. It had an ethnic feel in terms of design.

Our room was really big and it was a surprise for us given that the price is cheap. Bed is not soft and pillows were flat. Bathroom is okay for something cheap but it clogs really bad. Good thing they have a heater in the shower. Room came with a small cable TV and they also provided 2 thin and mismatched towels. What was annoying was that there were welders right outside our window - which made it hard for us to take a nap in the afternoon. Customer service isn't something you'd expect. The place was just being run by someone who could simply just settle payments from customers.

For the price, I'd say it was worth it especially because we came on a peak season. I'd recommend this to people who are on a budget.

The room we were given was one of the front rooms. It was small for three people but apart from that the lights were dim and the bed and comfort room smelled funny. We could not stand it; we transferred to another lodge after our nap.

The owners were very understanding though and even quite accepting with our predicament. They gave us our money back except the deposit we made before coming in.

Well, for a budget room, we had no complains. The room was clean and very spacious for a group of 4. The room was only Php2000.00 but doesn't included breakfast.

The room has a television and there's also free wi-fi. We just had to get the password from the reception. It also has a hot and cold shower. There is also a sink inside the room where we can wash our clothes and a table and cemented chair where the group can just stay and chat.

The location is great. It was a few steps away from the beach. It was far from the noise at night. It was just perfect.

Aside from the room, there are no other amenities. So don't expect too much.

Room Tip: Get room 3-C. It's very wide and could accomodate a big group.

This small hotel (actually, it is not really a hotel, since it features nearly nothing but a couple of rooms) is one of the fewer budget locations directly at White beach, Puerto Galera. We were thankful that it was not one of these all inclusive resorts with loud bars in front of them and the room looked ok at the first site, even though it was small and very basic (but with hot water and a/c). There even was a small veranda. But obviously the basement rooms tend to stink of cat pee or something and after a while this was annoying. Luckily the room was facing the beach, so it was easy to escape this - even when the weather's bad. All in all for 2000 PHP (around christmas at least) disappointing, cause also the staff was nothing to write home about (actually they seemed to be a bit f***d up working at christmas or so...).

Room Tip: Don't take one of the basement rooms facing the beach.
