after much research on internet,i chose this resort for our 1st week of our bi annual philippines dive trip.my first impression on contact by e mail with Shirley was positive, she answered all my questions so I booked 4 rooms for 5 divers and 3 non divers.Shirley is an asset she organised our transfers from Manila airport with 2 vans and a private boat,it was perfect everything went smoothly. We arrived at resort,2 guests had never been to the philippines and as the boat sailed practically to the door they both said wow.we checked in smoothly into 3 bungalows and one apartment. For the price per room it was fantastic, rooms were spacious, plenty of hot water and room had both air con and a large fan.plenty of storage space.
The day we arrived was my birthday and as we sat down to lunch the staff brought out georgous apple crumble and ice cream with candles on,then after evening meal they had baked a fabulous cake for me.The food in the restaurant and the staff was so good we never ate anywhere else, and on fri and sat they have a bbq and band which was so good lots of sabang residents came.John behind the bar makes the best cocktails in Sabang, and I tried a few.
this has to be the best all in dive resort I have ever been to.as there were 5 divers John the owner arranged that we had our own boat and dive master Geoff,he was great as indeed were all dive staff.Chris and baz made us all feel so welcome.Air fills were good, and a nice touch was towels at the end of your dive and restaurant staff ready with tea or coffee.Having dived all over the world I have never stayed in a slicker diving operation.
Our non divers enjoyed their day by the lovely small pool, but as the resort is only small it was never crowded.I stayed in room 5 which opened right onto it.nice porch with chairs, table and hammock.it is also possible to have your laundry done at reasonable cost.
All the staff work so hard, and that made this the best resort we have stayed at.we charged all food and drink to our room and at the end of our 8 nights itemised bills were given, all correct.the only shocking thing was how reasonable our total bill was.
as one of my friends said "it may be only a 3* resort but the service was 12* "
overall eperience this resort for yourself, you won`t be disappointed
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS
Day trip to verde island with 3 dives is a must weather permitting.the wall dives are some of the best I have ever done, pristine reef with so much to see you don`t know where to look first,a photographers heaven, and the bbq was brilliant
