A haven for those who wants a peaceful and relaxing vacation. Suuuuper friendly staff and service family. Accommodation is not your typical hotel room with aircon, it's like more of a traditional bahay kubo (nipa hut) very refreshing even if no aircondition, electric fan is enough. Snorkeling I'd say would be the best activity you can do here. Just ask the staff they'll tell you how. Recommended!

This is quite a secluded resort that was an effort to travel to from Manila. But worth it. We went with friends and their kids - so 4 adults and 4 kids in total (ages 8 to 12).
There is little need to leave this resort as they have all you could need. We did the daily free boat trip to nearby beaches and went snorkeling. Be warned you will get HOUNDED by the locals selling stuff at these little alcoves you visit. I know they are just trying to make a living however I found them particularly pushy and annoying as they would not take no for an answer.
The setting is really lovely though. The resort does a good job of blending into the surrounds and feeling authentic. We were at the top of the hill and each trio back to the room was an epic effort - lots of steps. But I guess it helped work off the alcohol.
We spent one day drinking 2 for 1 cocktails around the lovely pool and really enjoyed the service.
I'd happily go back here again.

Room Tip: If you aree unfit - ask for a room towards the bottom of the hill - seriously it is a hike!

We had a great stay at Coco Beach. The resort is privately secluded, boat ride is a requirement to go to White beach area or Sabang proper. Upon arrival they welcomed us with fresh coconut and seashell necklace. We stayed in a Deluxe room. The family in charge to us were very accommodating and hospitable. Activities were great, as well as the food! The only bad thing about our stay was the weather. But entirely the resort is highly recommended!

A short retreat from Manila, Philippines Coco Beach Resort appeared like a diamond in the ruff as our chartered boat calmly drifted to the shore. Upon arrival, we were "laid" with seashells and offered a refreshing glass of coconut juice drink after what was a surprisingly calm ride at sea. Without delay, we were escorted to our private bungalow up on the hills (bungalow 34 to be exact). Every morning we were surprised with fresh flowers, plants, bottles of water, and an entertaining piece of literature from the Coco Beach News. Up high, you close your eyes to the day with the majestic view of the sunset against the teal blue waters and wake with the rise of the sun against the hills. It actually is a pleasure to hear the fish boats head out at 6:00AM!

My only criticism coming from bustling and cramped New York City is that loft spaces are few and far between, so in the City we make an effort to decorate them with flair. If sharing a bungalow for three, the top floor loft space feels cramped and claustrophobic due to the one mattress placed on the floor hugged by a green mosquito net. With some flowers and a flat bamboo mat or platform, the loft area could be made inviting.

Overall, super attentive, super friendly staff: earnest and always with bright smiles. They make no qualms about referring you to another service if they cannot supply your needs, which are non-apparent in this resort haven. Leaves a Macy's-Gimbel's esque feel, if you are a "Miracle on 34th Street" movie fan. Highly, highly recommend this resort and am pondering when next to visit friends in Manila!

From the moment we stepped on the island we were treated like we were the only people there as I'm sure were the other guests. We had a Hilltop cottage with a beautiful view and due to the time of our stay (late Aug-early Sept) it was not too hot and mosquitos were not an issue. The staff, especially Arvin, Tristan, Lani, Kerwin and Charisse were fantastic, so very friendly and attentive! Our service family headed up by Jessica were there to answer any questions, laundry needs, etc. There were so many activities available we ran out of time long before we were able to do all that we wanted. If you're looking for a nice, simple and laid back time I would definitely recommend Coco Beach, I just can't say enough good things about our stay there, thank you to all of the people on staff and especially to Cathy in The Manila office who took the reservation, answered a million questions for us prior to our trip and made going to a relatively unknown place a truly memorable experience!

Room Tip: If you're choosing a Hilltop cottage on the hillside as I did be aware the rail at is only avail...

Our group of 19 stayed here for a week last July 2013. The staff were really friendly and provided good service. They have a few in house restaurants and activities were being offered by the resort as well. The only problem was the insects in our Nipa Hut room. We talked to the staff after our first night about the insects falling on our bed, they said it fell from the roof, and they fixed the problem right after.
