this gotta be the best place to stay in El Nido, room was comfy nice and clean big enough for the two.Owner Ana gave Pam and I the best possible service we could ever have.Staff are polite and very accommodating.Ana talked to us during one of our breakfasts there and she's so nice she made us feel at home and gave us discounts on our tours too and arranged our van going out of El Nido. She made our vacation more fun relax and easy.

Travel as couple on March 21-23, 2014. Staying here was not our original plan, however upon arriving in El Nido at quarter past 7 in the evening, and realizing that the original room we booked from Northern Hope Inn (I can guarantee you, you really should not trust them, will tell you your room is guaranteed only to find out that it isnt) we managed to find this inn and Ate Sexy (i forgot her name, she's chubby but really nice) lead us to the room, much to my surprise the room is very spacious, a family of 5-6 can fit in a double occupancy room. They even gave us cold water to freshen up, and they made sure we're ok before Ate sexy left. Breakfast is good, location is really nice since they have roofdeck where you can eat. Staffs sees to your every need. They even helped us to look for accomodation in Puerto Princesa. If I come back to El Nido, I will surely stay here again. :)

We arrived in El Nido on January 14, 2014 and we were surprised that most hotels either had no availabilities or had exorbitant rates. We walked about and did what we thought was necessary: we approached several locales and inquired directly from hotel owners. The latter gave us a better idea on which the best hotel was. We were referred to this hotel by a woman who mans the hostel-like guesthouse across it. It's located on the main street and is walking-distance from the pier. The owner was very accommodating and was very helpful. She gave us a family room, which to our delight wasnt just spacious but was also very clean. There were three beds, a TV, a fan, and an AC in the room. She gave it for only P1500. It was a steal so my fella and I decided to take it. The owner included breakfast in the package. We stayed 2 nights, thus, we saved an estimate of P1000 for our breakfast/s. Without exageration, a couple should spend an estimate of P500 to have a satisfying meal. P500 x 2 breakfasts = P1000. Imagine the amount we saved because of "Ate" (I cant recall her name). Another notable thing about Ate was the extra mile she went to help us with the tours. She patiently listened to us and suggested the best tours. You wont believe it but she herself arranged our tour. She has a partner agency. She slashed off P300 from the original P1200 tour cost (Tour A). There are 4 or 5 Tours I think. Yeah you got it right it we were just able to have A SINGLE tour because of the bad weather that coincided with our trip. Yeah it seemed we wasted our time in El Nido but c'mon Tour A alone was more than enough to compensate for our ruined itenerary. We had a blast. There was nothing regrettable about the vacation because we learned a lot. We learned the best season, the best hotel, and the best tours to pick. We're certainly coming back. Thank you Ate, whoever you are, for giving us the best accommodation.

Room Tip: ASK FOR TOUR DISCOUNTS FROM ATE. Note: There's no pool and fitness center at the property but sh...

Clean and friendly place with staff that sees to you every need. Where else do you get a 700 Peso Single Room with Beach view during peak season? Only double rooms have their own bathrooms, but the amenities are quite sufficient for the well traveled backpacker and the free breakfast is always good.

we stayed here last january 14-16, staying here was out of the plan, but when we saw the accommodations we plan to stay in we opted to look for something else (walk in). we actually got a family room with 3 beds, the room is quiet since its in the interior of the building, pretty spacious for us, price is good,(just haggle with ate Annie the manager and she will give you discount) lower than what we expected to pay with what we saw in Agoda. AC is working well, the room has television very important to ease boredom intervals, good bathroom, good beds, high ceiling rooms. the famous art cafe is few steps away. and most importantly this is on the main strip,it is beach front where the island hopping tours depart..the staff is attentive and accomodating..breakfast is generous and they have a balcony on the third floor that has a view, not that pretty view but good enough.

Room Tip: if the family room is available ask for it.

Room size is fine for two person but three it will be a bit cramped. Room and bathroom is clean. Location is beachfront but it is not really swimmable because there were so many boats. There are so many good food joints outside the accommodation as well as travel agencies. Electricity is on for 12h then nothing for the next 12h even fans! The staff said that there is wifi but didn't bother to use it so I can't really comment on that. For the rate that I paid I think it is a sweet deal since it was a peak period.

Room Tip: Room A is spacious among others

The room that we booked ( me and my bestrfriend) was a famiyl room. There were no other vacant rooms when we arrived last jan 26, 2013 until jan 30 2013. Obviously, the family room was huge for us but we loved it. Kuya ramil of Caera travel EL NIDO (he gives good discounts from vans, tours and some hotels. please contact +63 939 902 2215 ) bargained the price to the owner, his friend. We got the huge the room for only 1, 400 a night, 2 beds and an AC ROOM with clean comfort room. Not bad at all. No free breakfast included but unlimited coffee. A wifi connection is available but not so fast:(. But it was ok. My experience in Balay was very good. They clean the room everyday even without telling them and no things that were lost. Overall, I was happy we booked here and tills next trip I will book again here.
