My wife and I stayed here for two nights in February 2013 to spend a couple days in El Nido. The hotel is in a pretty good location, about a minute walk from the beach and near the main strip of bars, restaurants, shops and tour offices. The open-air restaurant/bar on the top floor has a beautiful view of the bay and islands, and the food and service is very good.
The hotel itself is not in the greatest shape. The door on our room wouldn't lock, and subsequently wouldn't UN-lock and needed to be changed; the shower wouldn't drain, even after the staff said they had fixed the drain; the faucet in the sink leaked the whole time, even after we informed the staff and asked them to fix it.
We definitely felt like we overpaid for this hotel. Granted, we stayed here during Chinese New Year, but we paid about $100/night, and we felt the value was more around $50/night. There are much nicer, newer places to stay directly on the beach for the same price.
Overall, I recommend this hotel at a cheap rate, mostly for the location.More
