“Relaxing place!”

We had the pool villa and it has a very nice layout of the room esp the shower/jacuzzi. It has a view of the bacuit bay, close to the pool and we could access wifi from our room. The filipino breakfast i love! Best ever tocino and tasty breads with brewed coffee. a friendly owner arnaud..will definitely go back here!

We stayed a week at Overlooking and absolutely loved it. The view, the service, tranquility, and accessibility to town were all so great. Arnaud was so accommodating and helpful with our special requests, and he gave us sound advice and assistance. We stayed in the Privacy Villa, and were very pleased. If the wifi reached the room, that would make it better, but walking to the gazebo to get internet was the slightest of impositions. Great coffee, too!

Spectacular! I have never stayed somewhere with such incredible VIEWS! The style, service and positioning of El Nido Overlooking's four apartments (ranging from the "basic" cottage - which is AMAZING... to the two bedroom villa with private pool) are all OUTSTANDING.
Pools and gardens are tended to daily, the breakfasts are basic & tasty & served to your room at a prearranged time of your choosing.
The bedrooms are exceptionally clean & the access to internet / wi-fi is either just outside your room overlooking the pool or in the case of the Villa - privately accessible.
Because we only booked the first two nights and then fell in love with the place we absolutely had to extend & were accommodated in almost every apartment over the week... Thanks Arnaud!
Arnaud and his team are constantly available for any assistance you need & a friendly chat regarding the local attractions.
5 minute tricycle ride from the town centre. 50 Pesos gets you in or out :-)
BOOK IT BOOK IT BOOK IT!!

Room Tip: All rooms overlook Bacuit Bay - INCREDIBLE VIEWS in any of the rooms, perfectly positioned. The Vill...

5 words...blood on the bed sheets. I'm not a fussy traveler. I chose this place because I was coming off 5 nights of island hopping and camping and also because it was rated number 1 but it was genuinely a bug infested swamp and even though I requested my bed sheets to be refitted each day they had spots of blood on them.

The location is great and the rooms are set up quite nicely but there are some things that I consider fundamental and those include hygiene and cleanliness.

Beautifully designed villas with cooking facilities, great views and peaceful surroundings. But this is not a hotel… more of a high-end B&B. There is no bar, no restaurant and service is very limited.

If you’re interested in catering for yourself, cooking your own meals and relaxing in solitude… this place is perfect!

I stayed here in March 2014 and had a truly wonderful experience. I was travelling with my partner and another couple, so we hired the 'Pool Villa' and 'The Cottage', both of which were beautiful and very comfortable (excellent showers and beds!). The whole place is stunning with amazing views and scenery. Arnaud, Valerie and the staff were all unbelievably lovely and helpful and made the whole stay very relaxed and easy. Breakfast was one of the best we had during our stay in the Philippines and they also arranged a private boat trip for us, which was excellent.

Getting into town is quick and easy on a trike and it was really nice to be staying somewhere so peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the main town. We all had a wonderful time here and cannot recommend it enough.

Room Tip: All the rooms were lovely with excellent amenities and huge comfortable beds.

The process of booking the place from start to finish was simple. Saw the place at tripadvisor and read great reviews! All are true and more! The place is private and secluded, which makes it more better. The walk up a little challenging and separates it from othe places. Never had the chance to meet Arnaud, but Valerie is a darling! The staff are very helpful and always carry a big smile. The place is kept clean and the pool is well maintained. Breakfast is good and loved the coffee. It's nice to wake up early in the morning looking at the view of the archipelago. The wife and daughter left some clothes and they extended the effort of contacting me and sent the clothes to where we are staying in Iloilo. That's what I called service! Love to go back to EN, and wouldn't think twice to book this place! The problem is, you have to be lucky to have a slot. We had the pool villa for three persons, would love to stay in the family villa next time. Keep up the good work Arnaud, Valerie and staff! Thanks for the memories, the pictures don't lie!
