This was me and my wife Yolanda's third stay at Dolce Vita having also stayed in 2006 and 2012. It is very convenient for us as Yolanda's family all live very locally. The Hotel is very peaceful with friendly helpful staff. Will stay again.
Service was impeccable, beautiful hotel, only slight issue is the rooms may be a bit too big for the air conditioner to get a room super cold quickly. But it worked adequately enough. The staff was amazing and went out of their way to accommodate our plans without us having to ask.
My family and I stayed in the family room that can accommodate up to ten guests. Perfect room for all of us for the 2 nights that we stayed in Puerto Princesa. Restaurant was amazing. Service was great!
Basic, clean and spacious room (and bathroom) detached from the main building housing the front desk owned by a friendly and warm German/Pinay couple whom we got to meet one morning while we were having breakfast. They still maintain residence within the compound which is a little off the main road . Very Filipino motif using local materials ie bamboo from the reception/front desk to their gazebo-like restaurant. Friendly and accommodating staff in particular the guys manning the restaurant/bar. They offer set breakfast but guests can order ala carte if their appetite so dictates. Their menu offers international food. Rides to town are readily available if guests feel like exploring the place.
Chose this hotel basically because they had a family room and was less than 10 minutes from the airport. No regrets! Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean. Beds were very comfortable. Place was surprisingly peaceful when it was just a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of a main road.
