“I love this place!Planning next visit”

My sister recommended me this place after she stayed there in 2010.I went home to the Phil after being away for 15 years.I went on a 10 day island hopping vacation El Nido,Cebu and Panglao. And my favorite accomodation of ALL was Balay Inato the staff were superb very friendly and helpful. The added bonus was the Chicken Inato restaurant( reasonably priced) located right on the property. There's hot water in the shower.Wi-fi is fast. The free breakfast is delicious.
I was so impressed by them calling my Underground river travel tour eventhough i did not buy the tour from them. They booked my dinner reservation in Ka Lui and offered free transfer to the airport when we left. The free filtered Hot and cold water located at the reception desk was to me the most helpful i can make tea or 3 in 1 coffee anytime. There's a small bbq stand across the street selling grilled tuna and it's cheap.I'm definitely coming back i want to see Honda bay and eat at Kinabuch.I really love Puerto Princesa!!

My travel agency, 8 Dragons Travel and Tours, booked Balay Inato for my second time in Puerto Prinsesa, this time, with my family. My dad was immediately impressed with the vast, decorated grounds and reception area and was so happy we were very close to a decent resto.

There were 5 of us, so we stayed in their Music Room. This aircondioned room has 1 queen sized bed, 3 single beds, cable TV and a spacious dirty kitchen. They also provided an electric fan. It has a veranda with wooden sala set where we can hang out after our tours. The room/house is huge, cozy, fully varnished and has exhaust fan in the kitchen too. The free soap and shampoo in sachets for each guests are replenished daily, as well as the clean towels. We just hope that there is somewhere we can hang our wet clothes on, we hang them on the gates instead.

The free breakfast is served as early as 5AM, the receptionist will inquire what time you want them ready at the resto. Again, there are choices for every day of the week. While the food is good and the resto staff are accomodating even at 5AM, for coffee enthusiasts like me and my family, we would love brewed coffee instead of the 3-in-ones :)

My dad wanted to try crocodile meat and the Balay receptionist suggested Kinabuch. He also said it will be better to reserve a table ahead. He readily called Kinabuch and made a reservation for us, in 15 minutes! Balay is just a 10 minute tricycle ride to Kinabuch so we made it on time.

We were scheduled to check out by 11am, but we are still going to Underground River. While we wanted to extend our room, there is another family who will be arriving by 8am. The receptionist said we could just pack and leave our things at the reception area before we leave, where they have a comfort room should we want to change our clothes after UGR tour. We returned early, change our sweaty clothes and hang around the reception area with the best buco shake ever!

My family had a wonderful time in Puerto Princesa and it was made better by relaxing evenings, friendly people, delicious dinners and more!

Thanks again, Balay Inato!

A good place for a B & B lodge. The cost is reasonable and the staff were helpful. We took a family room and a deluxe room since we travelled as a group. The family room is big but the room is a bit outdated and a bit far. The slope is slippery when it rains and that is the negative part of it. The deluxe room is clean and okay. The breakfast that they serve is also fine but a must try is the Kinabutch at night/dinner.

This place is very good,we stayed for 4days and 3nights, rooms/cr/bedsheets were clean, WiFi is also good in our room (room 6, don't know in the other rooms), front desk people were very approachable, resto was good also, the ambience, their chicken inato was tasty, the service is good also, resto people were very nice..the location is very near the airport and road, but peaceful to stay, rest and sleep.
Overall this place is very good and nice to stay.. il definitely go back the next time I will have a vacation here in Puerto.. U

this is perfect for practical traveller. Near the airport and free airport service from and to. Rooms are clean. Breakfast included and i can say just perfect for what we paid. The place is quiet and secured. Hot shower in the morning was not available as maybe the water pressure was low. Water supply i believe is from deepwell so expect a slight smell but all in all is just a tiny flaw. They also arrange tour. You can also leave your luggages in case you dont want to charge for another day. They have chicken inato restaurant, we had our dinner there once to taste their specialty and that was good. We had a great time in puerto princesa and with our stay in balay inato.

Room Tip: Request tricycle driver to bring you to souvenir shop & market for souvenirs & pasalubong. C...

Spending my last summer there was good. I was expecting for something less but it turned out good value for some small money. Staff was very pleasant. Room and bed was well -cheap but livable. Everything was well except for their slow wifi and very meager proportions for breakfast. Their best seller dish, chicken inato, in their own specialty resto, was worth a try. For a barkada looking for somewhere to crash and just leave their stuff for the day's wandering, this is not bad at all. :)

Just this Feb 4-6 2013, we stayed at Balay Inato. Since Marianne Home Inn is already fully booked, they reserved us 2 family rooms and 1 standard room at Balay Inato which is their business partner. Our group liked the family room since it is quite big and has its own mini-kitchen. After every tour, we rested and slept well at our rooms. Hindi kami namahay--we felt comfortable. The staff is accommodating and they try to fulfill our requests. Breakfast is quite simple but filling. It can be served as early as 5 a.m. It is very easy to hail a tricycle from this place. It is also very near the airport.

Room Tip: Choose the family room. It is more spacious than the standard rooms. It also has a back area where y...
