We were able to secure a table at Kalui because of an invite from a group of ladies from Iloilo whom we met early that day during our Honda Bay Tour. That is if we only want since we don't have a prior reservation.
The place is native with a modern twist. Interior design is great, love their collection of paintings. Once inside, you will are asked if you have prior reservation then you will be requested to remove your footwear and place it in the cabinet provided before you are guided to your table.
The wooden floor is really shiny and not much of dirt that you can feel while walking barefoot.
I was still full so we only ordered Seafood Sisig and shakes. The order was good for two, so just enough for us. The food tastes good and price is reasonable. Part of the set meal was a dessert of fruit mix of banana, watermelon and papaya sprinkled with muscovado sugar in a young coconut shell.
Overall, food and shakes were delicious. Interior design is quite impressive and I really love the paintings. The comfort room's interior is also nice. Once inside, it seems you're in a room for relaxation (literally, lol). You don't have to line up in queue just in case it's full, as there are chairs to sit down while waiting for your turn.
You have to book and reserve your table if you want no hassle otherwise, you have to be on the waiting list.
