Stayed at villa saturnina for 4 days and 3 nights. We had a lot of fun staying there. You get the feeling of your home in the province.

Most of all, their staff is very accomodating. Kuya joel and kuya jhong. They were the ones who made sure that our stay will be comfortable as ever.

Thanks for having us. Keep up the good work!!

Villa Saturnina is such a cozy and very nice place to stay because of its super friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, the 'homey' vibe, and the personal service. You can get all these things at a very affordable and sulit price! Staying in Puerto Princesa for three days became a lot better because of how Villa Saturnina provided me and my friends a place to stay with a "home away from home" feel. Plus, it also offers very affordable tour packages that include all the must-see places in Puerto Princesa. It will truly give you comfort and such memorable experiences without paying for so much

We had a great time in Puerto Prinsesa with the help of Villa Saturnina. It made us an itinerary fit for our 5days stay w/c includes island-hopping, city tour, crocky farm, firefly watching & UG river tour. The place is very homey with a garden. It feels like we have a house in Palawan. We super LOOOVE the service. The staff are very nice, friendly & are accommodating to our needs. My son even runs up to them to show our pictures during our daily trips. The breakfast is good enough for a non-brekkie person like me but you can make requests if you want to eat something else. Last but not the least, the price is just right for a perfectly planned itinerary. I strongly recommend this place for others to enjoy the beauty of the city and enjoy the quiet simple life of PP. Thanks to Villa Saturnina, esp to Sam for the wonderful experience we had!

I Stayed at Villa Saturnina when I went back to Philippines in May. Being a balikbayan, this place is far from the busy and stressful life of Singapore. Villa Saturnina is very affordable as they offer tour packages around Puerto Princessa. A very big plus is they have an awesome staff who were uber friendly and accommodating to all our requests. My friend was Muslim and they ensured that they served things that she can eat. Special thanks to all staff who treated us well.
We will definitely go back and stay at Villa Saturnina when we get the chance to!

After exchanging emails with Sir Sam, we finally decided to stay in this B&B for our palawan trip. We were given room #1 which had a double deck bed and a double bed, just enough for the two of us. The room is just simple but clean, so is the toilet. The free breakfast is just nice (coffee, egg & sausage or egg & hotdog), not much but good enough to fill our tummies. The villa is far from the city but Joel and Jong, the villa staff are very much willing to help you with the transport. If you would like to access the wifi, the dining area has a better signal than the rooms.

Overall, it was such a great experience. Thanks to Joel and Jong (staffs) and to kuya Boyet (driver) not only they made us feel welcome but we also gained new friends. Thanks to Sir Sam for arranging our trip and our itinerary and for the constant communication. We spent less but gained a lot of experience.

I came across Villa Saturnina from TripAdvisor –what caught my attention was their ‘Travellers Choice ‘ award, positive reviews from past guests, and their offer of only P4,700 (approx $105) for a 3D/2N stay with ALL the 4 major tours – this was a steal! (Don’t be misled by other cheap package offerings – better see the inclusions). So off we went to PP on a budget airline fare and reservations to VS with my husband and 3 adult kids.

During our first-time ride from the airport to the inn, I started to doubt if I made the right decision to choose VS – it looks soooo far away from the center - but I reckoned this is precisely our reason for getaway vacations – to escape the hustle and bustle and pollution of city life. We reached the villa after about 30 long minutes, and were warmly greeted by the owner Sam AND a mother hen with her chicks in tow. Though the place is not really that big, the garden was teeming with all kinds of flowering plants and trees, and at one corner stands fruit-laden mango tree. You would hear a rooster’s crow every now and then. So this is what they call ‘provincial life’!

There were 5 pink cottages, ours can comfortably accomodate about 5-8 people. The décor inside the room is simple with an aircon, a ‘Kapuso’ TV (only 1 channel, hehe), big clean fresh-smelling towel (you don’t have to bring one for your trip), pillow, and blanket for each guest. The bathroom is likewise clean, and is equipped with hot and cold shower. There is a common wi-fi zone ‘kubo’ with cable TV (this time with all channels na) and karaoke which serves as the dining area for all guests. Several days before our arrival I requested lunch for me and my husband (we came a day ahead), the menu of which I entirely left to Sam’s judgement. We were served a 5-course sumptuous delicious seafood lunch (which extended up to our dinner) prepared by his very own Dad for which we were charged a mere P400! We had a full day DIY free time before our tours while waiting for our kids – so the two Senior citizens decided to explore on our own. We just crossed the street, and there stood a beautiful Buddhist Temple perfect for ‘selfies’. Going to Robinson’s is a breeze – multicabs (what we call ‘jeepneys’ in Manila) and tricycles abound right in front of the villa (sorry, no taxis!) and for P20/P25 per person it’s so easy to go malling, go to the market, or go bargain-hunting in pasalubong centers. Just make sure you’re back ‘home’ by 7pm, Palawan folks apparently are early sleepers, alongside their trikes!

B&B inns and package tours are mushrooming in PP left and right – but I think what sets VS from the rest is the value-added hands-on service of its owner-CEO-COO-Marketing Mgr-Admin-Troubleshooter-sometimes cook SAM Narrazid and his gracious family, and for this I would give him a six out of 5 stars. He patiently replied to a million e-mails of this ‘Kulit Tita’ promptly, and provided answers to all queries/concerns. Being the owner, he is able to make snap decisions for ‘some things gone wrong’. In our case after all scheds and itinerary have been finalized one week prior, we were suddenly saddled with flight cancellations and rebookings by the airline, a missed plane by one of us, and a stormy sea, last minute addition to the UG …(for us it’s not a case of ‘everything went AS PLANNED’) but all’s well that ends well, all because of Sam’s direct hand in assisting us.

Suggestions? A few minor nice-to-have ones: 1) A big VS signage for the driver to hold at the airport which incoming guests can immediately see; 2) A little pruning and rearrangement of the exotic plants in the garden to give it a ‘landscaped’ effect, then put some benches where guests can just relax and chat; 2) Lights outside some of the cottages. Outside our cottage it was quite dark while going to the dining area – quite difficult for this Lola.

In all this was the ‘awesome-mest’ family vacation we ever had.

Dear Raz0106

Your in depth review is greatly appreciated. I know that between the flight cancellations and poor weather conditions we had to make a lot of changes to your original itinerary, but I am glad that everything turned out well and that you and the rest of the family still enjoyed your stay in puerto princesa. While all of these changes were beyond our control, I am still happy that you got the memorable family vacation that you deserve.

It was a pleasure having you at the villa, and i am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

We stayed at Villa Saturnina for a couple of days and it turned out to be the perfect choice for us. The itinerary was well organized (they took care of our tour reservations) and we were constantly given updates by the owner. The staff was also very helpful, and made our stay very comfortable. It felt like we had personal assistants who are willing to assist us whenever we needed help.

Definitely a good choice for travelers looking for personalized service.
