It's amazing to know that there is still a place in the Philippines which is really clean and safe such as PP Palawan. There is a no littering law in PP which in my opinion is successfully being implemented there. When I went in PP for the first time this May 2013, I can really see that the city is the cleanest City I've been in the Philippines. I heard that there is a fine if anyone is caught littering. Our tour guide mentioned about the law of cutting trees in PP too. It's illegal to cut a tree in PP. I think if you cut 1 tree and got caught, you have to plant 5 (not sure how many though) in exchange.

In terms of safety, our tour guide mentioned that there is a low crime in PP, no wonder why we did not see police or security guard in places we visited during our stay there. Kudos for Mayor Hagedorn for maintaining a safe and clean Puerto Princesa.

We stayed in a hotel near the airport and just across the Kina Butch Restaurant which seems to me like a famous hangout for tourists and locals. You can try the crocodile meat in this restaurant. Pricing is average to a bit expensive.

There are a lot of tricycles plying here and there. I noticed the courtesy of the tricycle drivers too. This is an additional good experience in PP too especially for tourists.

The Best experience in PP is visiting the Underground River. It's very entertaining and educational. The rock and mineral formations inside the cave are fantastic. The Honda bay experience was a great experience too which include a visit in Cowrie Island, Pambato Reef and LuLi Island.

The trip was tedious, long road drive, long wait in the Sabang port, and another long wait in the dispatch station to the cave itself. The life jackets and helmets provided were not in good condition, mostly with missing tie belt to secure it to your body, the helmets were dirty, no proper sanitary procedure before they give it to the next user. The place stinks with guano, bat droppings, so if you have Asthma, do not go there. The boat ride itself was so- so, the sights were not spectacular especially if you have seen other caves in the world. However the best part for me is the humor of the tour guide.

The view was breath taking and the facts about the place is really amazing and informative. Sad that we are not allowed to swim in the area because it was government protected. The brikish water and the cave was totally amusing!

What an amazing cave system. We weren't expecting too much with this place but once you get inside, it just goes on and on ... and is 65m high at its tallest point. Just amazing. Well worth the hassle of a permit to see - a true natural wonder.

One of the longest underground cave and very interesting stalactite and stalagmite formation. The tour guides are so funny. Kept our imagination going.
