Surfside Boracay Resort & Spa

This would be my first choice of hotel if I came back to boracay. The location is great as the beach is quieter and there are less people hassling you - but still plenty of choices for restaurants and activities. The rooms are not luxurious but they are very clean and comfortable, which is all we wanted. Restaurant was lovely and relaxing, and had no problems with the food and drink that was served up. Extra bonus that breakfast was included. We drank the water and ice they served with no problems. All in all a great experience, and great value - much better than the second hotel we stayed in which was twice as expensive. Oh and the spa was very professional and good value - definitely worth visiting!

The hotel is just perfectly located right on the beach. This is absolutely the best thing about this place! We could literally just get our swimwear on and jump straight in the water after breakfast.
They also have a cafe/resto where you get your free breakfast (the philippino breakf. w/tocino is very good). Service is a bit slow, but that goes for a lot of places in the Philippines.
Staff is very nice and attentive. They also serve beer + drinks to you if you're laying down on the beach loungers
Regarding the room; we were "upgraded" to a family room (which we did not need) which can hold as many as 7 people I think. Compared to the other rooms I saw, this one really needs an upgrade. It is dark and a bit dirty, but we managed just fine in there, just a bit disappointed that they would "upgrade" us to a obviously worse room than the others. Maybe they were full and had to place us there? Will definitely stay again, just not in the family room (which is on top of all the stairs).

Excellent message - toned up the body very well. Real value for money vs the more pricey ones like mandala. However it's a long walk from station 2 and appears to be an isolated area and not so great ambience. You can avail of 50% discount if you visit during non peak hours ( until 3 pm) and 25% after that.

We stayed there just one and our last night in Boracay. I was so happy to walk in and get the best room I could imagine with a sea view. Many many thanks to the hotel owner to be so kind to give me a deep discount for the room!! Room was perfect, with not brand new furniture but very comfortable and large. The junior room had wide balcony with nice sea view.Their Nagisa Japanese food cafe is awesome. We used to come there even before we lived in Surfside. Our last night we were having dinner and the owner (I'm so sorry I don't remember your name) came up to our table saying that he is sorry for us waiting tempura. He said he had to ask to recook tempura for us as it wasn't good enough. Oh please believe me tempura was gorgeous then!!! It is so nice taking care of their guest so thoroughly. I wish I will have a chance to stay there again next time.

Location: Station 3, beach front hotel, 15 minutes walking distance to Station 2

Staff : All friendly, attentive and really helpful.

Services: They were more than happy to book our activity in Boracay. Also, you can arrange for pick-up/drop-off at the airport.

Overall experience: Our first time in Boracay and upon arrival we were served with juice, damp cloth and souvenir necklaces! Great start for our stay, makes us feel warm and special.

As guests, we get discounts both at their restaurant and their spa services, which is pretty amazing! The restaurant serves great food and we had a relaxing time availing their massage services.

They even gave us a souvenir bracelet on our checkout, which is lovely!

The hotel's location is ideal if you're looking for a serene, quiet and relaxing holiday.

Would definitely come back again!

Room Tip: We booked for a double deluxe room with queen sized bed. Room is spacious and comfortable. The room...

First time to Boracay and we could have not picked a better resort. Personalized welcome drink and departing gift are great touches. The rooms are clean and more than sufficient. The cafe is a perfect place to start your day with the included breakfast and views of the sea. We spent every day at the lounge chairs enjoying the quiet end of the beach and explored the other stations at night. Next door to great bars and restaurants (tree house, red pirates pub) and the staff members are great. The spa was perfect, especially with the discount they give to their guests. We did not have a single complaint. It was worth well more than the price we paid and we will stay here when we plan our next visit to Boracay.

Booked a superior room for 2 nights. Room was basic, but VERY VERY CLEAN and quiet. Has it's own AC, fan,mini-bar, and a veranda. Rooms are located just a few meters from the beach so it's very convenient for anyone to go dipping anytime of the day -- Plus you can get a new fresh set of towels from the front desk anytime you want.

I'm not really a connoisseur, so i find the price of their food a bit steep. Had our complimentary breakfast there, and had lunch on the last day just because we really didn't have time to find a place to eat.

Staff was great and helpful. If you want to try some of the island activities, best you consult their staff because their hotel is somehow connected with some of the activity operators and they offer big discounts if you're a guest at surfside.

Management was also kind enough to arrange our travel from their place to jetty port (Free) and then recommended the best and cheapest transport service from caticlan to kalibo.
