Kikkos is Cool! We booked directly to Kikkos Boracay because it was referred to us by a very good friend of ours who stayed in Kikkos. When we arrived at Kikkos we were amazed because we never expected that the hotel was very nice, fantastic! The room was very neat and clean, very far from the other hotel the last time we visited Boracay. We took some rest, and decided to go out for lunch. The hotel is not beach front as what our friends told us. But, we were very happy that they offered free shuttle service to take us back and forth. In the midst of our lunch, the heavy rain fells so we decided to go back to the hotel. The typhoon was terrible! It rained very hard. The wind was so strong. We cannot go outside since it is quiet dangerous. We cannot go swimming because of the big waves in the beach. We cannot do anything but sleep, there is no cable since the connection was destroyed by the typhoon, no cell phone signal all network of both smart and globe were affected. No power, therefore definitely no air condition, but it doesn’t matter no need to turn on air condition since it is so cold. The hotel has a generator but it is turned on and off. We were advised by the front desk what time they will turn on and off the generator. We understand the situation, since they explained to us that the fuel supply in Boracay Island is not sufficient for all the hotels in the island since they get their supply of Fuel from the Mainland, and no one can cross the island for two days. No boat is allowed to cross for two days. We cannot blame anybody because this is caused by natural calamity. The lesson we learned in what happened is we will never booked or have a vacation in Boracay island during the month of JUNE, since it is rainy season. But we never regret we choose Kikkos because of the very friendly and accommodating staff. I salute Kikkos Boracay in terms of service, even in the midst of the typhoon they are always ready to assist us and take note with all the smile, even though they are very tired cleaning just to make sure their guest will not slip down in the wet floor.

We just realized that it is indeed a full rest, because what we did is sleep the whole day. And here we are, back to work. I myself love Boracay Island a lot. For sure we will be back in this island and enjoy the beach a lot, but of course not on JUNE. Maybe summer March, April, or May. June is not the ideal month to visit the island. And for sure we will be back in Kikkos again we love the room a lot. We love the hotel. Amazing!

We were checked-in at this resort when a strom hit Boracay. Of course we were not worried as it was written on their leaflets they had a 24-hour generator like most other hotels in the area. Unfortunately, the 24 hour generator turned out to be 4 hours in a day! You had to sleep with no airconditioning! and as the receptionist reasoned out, it was cold anyway! Sheeeshh.. did she forget the room doesn't have ventilation? Perhaps she expects us to open the Balcony door.. and invite insects and frogs in our room?! They did not even offer the guests anything for the incovenience they caused us. Oh and the food was TERRIBLE!

This place is not at a Beach Front location and it's located at the end of the island far from the restuarants and other places. Their rates however are just as expensive as those located in a more convenient location. You would think that they have something better to offer considering they are just as pricey.. but NO! It's simply a freakin' Highway Robbery.

It was the first time for us (4 friends + me) to go to Boracay and we decided to book ourselves to Kikko's Boracay Beach Resort as part of the package with Seair. Our booking date was February 23-25, 2008 (3 days 2 nights). Kikko's fetched us with a shuttle service from Caticlan Airport to the jetty port and boat transfer from the jetty port to Boracay Island proper. Then, another service fetched us to the hotel, all courtesy of Kikko's. That made an impression to us.

When we reached the hotel, we were greeted by courteous staff with welcome drinks which we thought was very nice. Nina, the frontdesk staff, even had little chat with us and was concerned about our flight delay (3 hour delay to be exact). The rooms use key cards and not just ordinary keys. Our room was cozy and the backdoor lead us to the swimming pool which wec ould use anytime. The bathroom was spacious and had a bathtub with hot and cold water. The bathtub was my favorite. The room was airconditioned with cable tv. And breakfast? It was amazing! And another nice thing about Kikko's was everytime we were going to D'mall, there was a service waiting for us in front of the hotel and if we needed a ride back, the hotel was glad to provide for us. The hotel arranged our island hopping tour and banana boat ride. They provided masseurs even at 1:00am when we needed them for 500 pesos per hour plus 50 pesos for some sort of night differential.

The place is not beach-front at the edge of Station 1so those who wants a nice view overlooking the beach will be disappointed. Since, we wanted a peaceful environment away from the noise and crowd, this was the perfect place. Anyway, it's just a 2 minute walk from the beach. It is also far from shops and night partying but the hotel will gladly provide transportation for you. The accommodation is very reasonable. You will be surprised how cheap it is. The people are warm, courteous, attentive and most of all concerned with their guests. Nice facilities.

If we are going back to Boracay, this is where we want to stay. I definitely recommend this hotel. So guys, check Kikko's out.
