The room was big. Walking distance to d mall. Don't actually need to take a mortar cycle.

It was a typhoon season when we were there and it was really nosy all night when the wind blew against the window. So beware.

Punta Rosa was a great spot for a couple's get away. Right at the end of White Sand Beach, the location is perfect if you want to be far enough away from it that you can have quiet evenings on your balcony, but near enough (ten minute walk along the beach) to the busy restaurant and shopping area of Boracay.

Although there is nothing overly flash about the facilities, they are to an acceptable level, and the rooms are nice and big. Although there's no pool, the beach is a 20 second walk and you can use the sun lounges of the hotel next door as long as you buy a drink (which is fairly cheap).

The best part of this hotel was probably the breakfast spot, on the top level of the hotel with a breathtaking view of the ocean. The food was also quite good and it didn't really bother us interchanging between only a couple of options throughout our 6 night stay.

The staff were not overly outgoing or friendly, but courteous enough when we required anything. They responded swiftly and efficiently and showed us all available rooms where we considered a room change (for no real reason, other than to just see what else was available). It was appreciated how well they treated this request.

Overall a great hotel at a very good price. Great value for money.

Room Tip: All rooms have similar size, however some get more light than others. Our Punta Cogon room had a gre...

If you are not afraid about being 20 mn from the crowd, bar and restaurants, if you prefer calm and quiet places, if you are not looking for a lot of services, this is the place to be.
I had for 3 days a nice suite front the sea at very reasonable price ( half of other places and with a real direct view on the sea)

The rooms are really nicely decorated and the location is perfect if you are looking for a peaceful place in Boracay away from the crowd. However, the staff was really not helpful and should definitely improve especially for this hotel standard.

Excellent, very good value for money! Location is perfect, nice and friendly staff, can warmly recommend. Breakfast is on the rooftop with astonishing view. Rooms are nicely decorated. The area is calm and one has only a short walk to the beach and the other resorts alpng white beach.

My bf and i stayed wanted to stay at the most quiet part of white beach to celebrate my birthday last June 2012. So after checking hotel reviews we picked this hotel. The staff were very nice and accommodating. However i find this place a bit hyped up.
It's a nice little boutique hotel, the rooms are very clean, bathroom is big but i didn't like the bathtub.
I love the bed and the sheets though and the room has wonderful view of the ocean but they are not really beach front so there's no beach chairs to lounge on day time.
We came here June so it was rainy seasons already. We cant really walk on the shore because of high tide but we cant really walk the main road either because it's far and you'll pass by some residential area that has some stray dog. I find it really troublesome that you just cant get whatever you need during the stay.
The food at the hotel was a bit pricey for the taste.
The thing that i love the most here was the view of the ocean from the roof top. You can actually request from them to set up a table for breakfast or dinner to have that amazing view while eating.
However i don't have any plans to come back to this hotel since i find it very inconvenient.
There's more good hotels on the area for the same price that has an access to the main road and other nearby hotels.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Punta Rosa for 5 nights in late Jan 2012 and found it to be a very pleasant experience. Its located on Diniwind beach, at the end of white beach on north part (station 1) of the island. Its a good >20mins walk to station 2 where D'mall and all the shops are. Its a nice walk though, but we found we walked there everyday as there wasnt many restaurants/bars around the area we were staying at. The beach at this place is semi-private, however the area isn't exactly more isolated and quieter. You have to go towards Puka shell beach or further north for complete serenity (there's still hagglers around this area). The staff were super friendly, very helpful. The rooms were huge with great views and good basic bathroom/toilet and we got a huge bed in our deluxe suit. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was nice, every morning on the rooftop they served eggs/toast and fruit. A bit more variety would have been nice but for 5 days it was fine. It was good value and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay a little bit further away from the busy part of the beach strip.

Room Tip: Punta Cielo was a very nice room with great views on the top level and king size bed.
