We stayed here for five nights. check in was fast and our room was big with a nice view and a really cool private pool...The van into D mall every hour was great and it's just a short trike ride to Puka beach. That's about all the nice things I can say the room needs to be updated the bed was hard as a rock the towels were so small and old it took like three to dry off. the toilet was in the shower... The internet will not work in the room you have to be at the front desk to log in so don't even think your going to have wifi in your room or anyplace else in this hotel. it would not even work at breakfast. Oh and Breakfast was included with the room I guess that's good because it is no good at all.... This hotel could be very nice with a little love and care and an owner that cares about quality and customer service.

Room Tip: Pick a room on a high floor for a better view.

If you are looking for honeymoon acommodation, DON'T choose Grand Vista!!! It is soooo disappointing! It doesnt look anything like on thier webside! Everything is old, rusty and not quite right. The first night I woke up with an ant crowling on my face! ANTS are everywhere, all over the room and the restaurant.
We booked the hotel as it meant to be a "spa resort" with a gym. Well the gym and spa is not even build yet and building work is in process, which is even worst as the noise is terrible: constant sound of hammers and concret mixer, makes it impossible to relax around the pool. If you mix it with a terrible, very loud music that blasts from the pool bar every day, it makes you want to screem and run away...
Food is terrible too and very expensive, cold as the kitchen is not even in the same buildind as the restaurant. The restaurant is dirty and very small with ants crowling on the tables.
It is a shame, as the hotel is placed in a beautiful surroundings and could be a fantastic place. I guess the owner needs a wake up call, because the reality is far from whats painted on internet.

The Hotel not so bad .I was there from December till January and service leaves much to be desired. When we looked on their site photo of rooms they look perfect. My wife decided to book a newly wedded couple room. On photo we saw 2 birds on a bed, leaves of roses on water surface of a pool. The water of a pool is too dirty, you can pick up any infection in water. They have pump for pool but without filters. The view of room is terrible, everywhere you can see spots of rust. At the end of our residence, the phone of my wife was stolen by room service staff, because when we packed our luggage in this room the phone was in room on a bed(The phone was white with white flip cover on a white bed) and when we were leaving this room we didn't noticed it. We moved to another Hotel by their bus, when we came to our new room and started to unpack our luggage we noticed that we can't find my wife's phone. We called to our Grand Vista & spa Resort to the reception and asked them to check our room, they told us, please call in 5 minutes. When we called once again they said that they didn't find anything in your room.
One more now there they do big renovation with another part of building, before there was a kitchen, but now they did kitchen from one of the room.
I nobody recommend this Hotel.

It is one of the best hotel ever. I mean the view was spectacular. Even though they have some renovations, the hotel nailed it. Perfect for honeymooners. Their public pool was huge, and they a floating bar too. Out room was huge, bed was so comfy, bathroom was really nice and the private swimming pool is really really impressive + the view from your hotel room. It is just wow factor for us. The shuttle leaves on time and pick you up at the mall u til 10pm. No wifi at the room just at the lobby but you don't need wifi coz everything inside your room was enough for a nice honeymoon and time with your partner. buffet Breakfast is free, they serve fresh fruits, asian meals, continental and coffee too. By theway we got out hotel for 3,200 pesos instead of the original price (16,000) a night. It's a deal in paradise.

Room Tip: Ny room will work, their room is pretty impressive.

I would easily have given the hotel 'Superb' for food unfortunately the dining (overall room comfort/staff) experience ruined the morning for me. The cook/waiter slighted a comment that we we're the only 'foriegners' who checked in the hotel directly referring us being Filipinos (even though we were Fil-Americans). The majority of guests were Koreans and had a feeling that the staff was more attentive to foreign guests than 'locals' who looked like Filipinos in appearance were considered inferior. This observation was supported by the front desk staff 'genuinely' greeting ALL foreign looking guests passing through with the exception of course of Americans looking like locals. The hotel gave us a corner room which was great. The night we checked in I walked from the room to front desk and report the multitudes of Black ants marching in almost every corner of the room and most vertical and horizontal surfaces. There was a torrential downpour that night and the hallway leading to the stairway (yes,no elevators) was in ankle deep water. The staff offered to bug spray the room. Seriously? That was the best solution for a weary guest who just had to wade through flooded waters? I declined because I wanted our honeymoon stay not remembered by the scent of pest repellant.

If you want to saty away from the busy night life of boracay white sands, this is the place to stay. Nice hillside view of the island. Big room with your own private pool. Shuttle service free to and from dmall of boracay. Ok selection of breakfast buffet and nice pools to swim.

Room Tip: Just avoid stains on linens and towels and sheets they charge a lot.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and will never stay there again.

1. I was charged $507 despite was only quoted $447 due to the high conversion rates to PHP - WHICH WAS NEVER MENTIONED ANYWHERE where I booked. Not at all a good business practice.
2. Only two menus were only available for the rest of the restaurant asI was told the rest of the menus were distributed into the rooms. The beef caldereta (filipino dish) were very hard and the chicken was still bleeding.
3. The bathroom curtains were mouldy and the bed sheets (upon closer inspections) were also mouldy.
4. To be fair the staff were friendly, but a lot for to be desire for when it comes to training.
