We were very, very happy with our stay at the Residencia Boracay - 4D/3N. We had the 3rd Floor Deluxe Select Room (Room 301) which had a balcony and an awesome view of the beach! Strong A/C, wifi, cable TV reception. Breakfast was good and filling. We appreciate the hotel management's decision not to really operate a restaurant - as it helped allow Residencia to maintain its privacy, unlike other hotels which become very busy when other tourist-diners mix with hotel guests. The staff were even very helpful in recommending nearby places to eat at. We thus felt safe within the hotel premises, especially with our two teenage sons with us. Instead of a restaurant, Residencia dedicated its beach front area for hotel guests - with lots of swings, hammocks and lounge chairs under coconut trees. This was where I had my daily massage by Sanny for P350. Very relaxing! Since we were often dripping wet and sandy, we like it that we did not have to pass through a fancy lobby, restaurant or take an elevator to our room. The rooms are within easy access from the beach. Shower, toilets and foot baths are thoughtfully provided for beach-goers. We got what we went for - the beautiful beach and a good place to stay at Station 1. We did not pay 5-Star rate and thus did not expect 5-star service and amenities. But the privacy, peaceful environment, very decent room/service/food, and of course the beach, were all worth every cent we paid.

Room Tip: Get rooms with balcony. Only 4 units available. Enjoy unobstructed beach view/atmosphere - day and...

When we decided to go to Boracay, my friend had decided to stay in Station 1. We went there in March and it was totally at the wrong time. It was a high peak season there and we ended up had to pay double for our accommodation.

I chose to stay at this hotel since most of the hotels i wanted to stay initially were fully booked. I took the package offered by the hotel which include 4 nights stay and transfer. Prior to booking, the staff (Paolo, that's him) was very helpful in assisting me with all my inquiries about the hotel and transfer. He was really good in ensuring that i will be well taken care during my trip.

When we went to our room, I was really quite shock to see the room. It was clean, definitely, but it was not worth to pay that much for staying there. Like i said, I went there at the wrong time.

The room was comfortable, clean and had the basic toiletries. Please bear in mind that the hotel does not provide any mineral water nor cattle, so you just have to buy mineral waters at the mart. The room has one room where you can wash your feet after your beach-sun-tanning activities. You have to inform the reception if you want your room to be cleaned on the next day. The room doesn't have any safe deposit box so i ended up keeping my cash in my luggage and i had to lock my luggage each time before i went out. The wifi was excellent. No complain on that at all. I believe all the rooms here are non-smoking room cause mine was definitely a non-smoking room. Unfortunately, the deluxe room doesn't have any balcony. Perhaps, you can ask for the suite instead of deluxe room. When you make the booking, do ask about your room i.e. whether it will be on the ground floor or not. The hotel doesn't have any elevator, so if your room is on the top floor, then you have to climb up the stairs with your luggage. A bit inconvenient, i must say.

The breakfast was ok and very limited choice. You have to inform the reception or the staff at the dining place earlier on what u want for your breakfast cause it comes in a set, not buffet. If you want to order some food for room service, it has very limited choice. Most of the food, even though in the menu, are not being provided by the hotel. Just normal easy to cook food like chicken wings, cheese burgers and sandwiches are available.

The reception closes at 10 pm every night. One thing about this hotel, you just have to call the reception for everything. So you better place the call for whatever you want before 10 pm or else you will have to wait the next day. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful but dont expect he/she to entertain you immediately since the hotel only has one receptionist. You may expect a delay but you will definitely get what you want.

What i love about this hotel is the location. It is located at Station 1 and very far from the crowd. You can have your privacy here. However, there are a lot of stray dogs around the hotel. Even though the dogs won't be disturbing you, but their presence really made me uncomfortable especially at night.

Overall, I may come back here again but if other hotels are available, I will choose other hotels then.

Room Tip: Choose the room on the ground floor unless u want to burn extra calories there.

We stayed in Residencia last January 2013 for 2 nights. We arrived very in Boracay, around 9 AM and they were kind enough to let us check-in early without any additional fee. We got a standard room which is around 4K php per night. It includes breakfast for two. However, breakfast was not that great. It's a buffet breakfast, but choices are minimal and tastes of food is average. The location of the resort is great. It's in a quiet part of Station 1. The sand seems better and less algae build up during afternoons. The resort does not have it's own restaurant, but its beside Ambassador and Kasbah. D'Mall, where most of the stores and restaurants are located would be a 30 minute walk from the resort.
Overall, Residencia is one of the most afforadable resorts in Station 1.

Awesome location in station 1. Breakfast was average served by a cold/ uninterested/ unsmiling woman. Room 112 was a let down. Small sized with a nasty super loud A/C that woke us up a few times throughout our 3 night stay. Will not stay here again if I had a choice.

Room Tip: Check loudness of A/C

The fact we have stayed here twice must say something, first time as a couple, the next with a party of 13. It's far enough from the crowds to have a quiet swim and relax when needed, then all you need is a short walk down the beach and to the crowds to get something to eat, drink etc:
Station 1 definetly the nicest part of the island.

Forget the prices on the laminated signs that are displayed around the island, the guy who books the activities at this hotel was beyond helpul and with his contacts always got us the very best prices possible.
Rooms were air conditioned and cool and especially the 4 Deluxe suites offer good sized balcony views of the beach.

The Breakfast menu was pretty basic but the coffee was always nice and a great restuarant with accoustic entertainment is right on the sand next door.

Unfortunetly the Residencia was booked out now we're heading to Boracay a 3rd time so we had no choice but to go elsewhere or we would have been here yet again.

Room Tip: Deluxe Rooms 1st or 2nd floor with balcony views

Ideally situated close to Station 1 and just a stroll away from the White Beach, a tranquil and refreshing atmosphere; the best thing about residencia is its pristine beachfront. you have a whole spread of white sand and peaceful area. there are two nice open-air relaxing huts and a couple of wooden swings.

We went to bora with my whole family and stayed to residencia. First, the location is excellent,  it is a beachfront hotel.  Since it is located in station 1 it has a wide shore, and very quiet, not so crowded part of the beach.  You can lounge to their beach chairs without so many people passing by infront of you. Perfect place to relax. The hotel itself is good., clean rooms as well as the bathroom. The free breakfast is average, it is  serve by plate not buffet, or only because we stayed there during low season.  The staffs are kind and nice. The only disadvantage is that it is too far from the station 2 where most of the restos and bar are located. I suggest to walk when going to station 2 then take a tricycle when going back to the hotel.
