The hotel occupies a good location in Boat Station 1, on a quiet section of the beach but only a short stroll from the more lively attractions in Boat Station 2. It fronts a section of beach which may not be private, but feels like it is.

However, my stay at the Ocean Village was unfortunately not as idyllic as it might have been.

After travelling half way around the world it was disappointing not to have the benefit of an ocean view from my room/balcony. Our view was the side of other bedrooms and in fact was badly overlooked. The air-conditioning made a noise all night long, like a jet engine taxiing for take-off. My request to be moved and even to upgrade at my cost was not dealt with by the staff who appeared to be disinterested. They appeared to have no authority and little management.

For the price I paid, I expected better and will look elsewhere next time.

Room Tip: Make sure that you ask for an ocean view.

If you want a relatively quiet place away from the crowded spots at Boracay, this is where you should go. It's a nice beachfront hotel with big enough rooms, a beautiful pool and friendly staff. They also have a stand-by generator in case of power failure, TV with cable in the room and WiFI is available at the lobby, poolside and in some rooms.

Buffet breakfast at the restaurant was more than what we expected and for us, the unobstructed view of the ocean while heaving breakfast is a big plus for this hotel.

As it is located in Station 3, be prepared for two things: first, it is quite a distance from the main commercial center such as D'Mall and second, the area in front of the hotel is part of the space used by boats as their mooring zone so the are always a lot of boats there. The hotel has cordoned off a portion of the beachfront as its swimming area where guests can swim without having to bump into a boat. If you want a bigger swimming area, you can just move a little towards Station 2 and you're good to go.

More restaurants and other eating places are located nearby if you want to try the other offerings.

Room Tip: If you don't mind spending a few Pesos more, get a room with a veranda on the 2nd floor with ocean view - you'll have a place to sit down, relax and enjoy coffee with a view of the ocean.

If you're visitng Boracay you'll hardly be in the hotel but this one takes care of all your needs to ensure you even enjoy your time outside. The rooms are basic. We visited right after the Typhoon and island was affected with power cuts. There was no wifi in the hotel either because of that. Otherwise, the staff was very helpful, rooms were clean and the hotel to extra effort to ensure our airport transfers were comfortable in spite of inconvenient timing.

The food at the hotel is very good but since they have only on restaurant, the choice is limited to Jap food and very little Filipino food. The beach outside the hotel is very clean and the location is a short walk from station 1 and 2. So it's away from the crowd and activity yet not too far for you to miss the pulse of Boracay. I would say it is value for money.

Great location at the quiet end of white beach at boat station 3. Clean modern rooms, great aircon and friendly helpful staff. Good selection of breakfast options. Only down fall would be the lack of shade and beach lounges at the front of the hotel for guests wanting to enjoy the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Okay, i was a bit worried of the negative comments first, but i still tried my luck. And ive never been happier...
Room is okay , on the contrary, i love the bed. its comfortable on our own standard. Had a comfortable and peaceful sleep.
The staff are very nice and accomodating, pool is superb and the beach? Just few steps away from the room. We stayed on a superior room on the ground floor, it might help if you will request a room on the ground floor for an easier access to the pool/beach. On our 2nd night here by the way
Id definitely come back here, that's for sure
