“Windsurfing beach”
Review of Bulabog Beach

Bulabog Beach

This area is good as a change to hang out and watch the kite surfing and wind surfing sports. I went to the Timog kite school, the food there is excellent! :) and all the other kiters from the other schools drop in to have food there. The staff were friendly and great crew all round. I did a windsurfing class there but the main reason people go there from November (?) to April /May is for the Kitesurfing which is amongst one of the best conditions in the world. GO TO TIMOG kitesurfing school for the food.

I understand that during our visit it was considered ow season and the boat operators and tours operate off this beach due to the prevailing winds. Not my cup of tea.

However, in the high season I understand its an excellent kiteboarding beach.

If you're too tired to visit White Beach and all its crowd. You can walk for roughly 5-10 minutes to the opposite beach, Bulabog. It is not as good as White Beach in terms of natural features, but still fairly good to spend you're lazy afternoon, reading a book, walking on the seashore... If you're lucky and visit Boracay during strong tide and wind, you can try the watersports activity.

loads, i mean literally loads of sea activities there, just take a short stroll and hordes of people will approach you for sea activities, so take some time and stroll for cheap pricing!

This beach is really more known for active water sports i.e. kite surfing, wind surfing, etc. It was the start of the Habagat season so most of the water activities on White Beach have moved here. I've never really considered this beach fit for swimming but during our very recent visit, the beach area was really filthy and smelled like sewage. It was low tide thereby exposing the sewage pipe that was discharging a continuous stream of waste water into the ocean. I hope the local government does something about this before it's too late. It was so disgusting that we decided to head back to White Beach and do our Paraw Sailing there instead.
