“Hotel still in construction - Not ready”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 August 2014

This hotel is still in construction. Our room was poorly prepared for guests : only 1 lightbulb on 2 in the bathroom, cannot open the window, no fan, very noisy and not efficient air-con, no wifi in the room, no curtain on the window (only a white light veil that is useless) and construction work noise starting at 9am. The great thing about this hotel is its location : directly on a beautiful beach. The staff was nice even if not able to arrange any transfer to the airport. There is no restaurant or cafe but they can bring your breakfast to you on the beach which is nice. We paid quite a big amount for such a poor room.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the beach if available.

Very friendly manager but we were given rooms out the back in a building that was not even finished! Perhaps if we stayed in a beachfront room we would have had a slightly more enjoyable experience but they aren't worth the money they ask. Breakfast was apalling and took ages to get delivered if/when they remembered what you had ordered. The 'beach' that the hotel is built on is a rocky mess of building materials and algae but is abit better further up towards the left. We ordered drinks/or food from The Wahine Bar and they were happy for us to use there sunbeds. There are a few restaurants on either side of the hotel that are decent. Nice walk into Station 1 along the coastal path and a tricycle into D-Mall is only 100pesos.

Room Tip: Go for a 'Seaview'

The Beach House in Diniwid Beach in Boracay Island is a place where you can relax away from the bustle in "Station 2 City" (as I call it). Their manager is very friendly and accommodating. Though I wont recommend this resort because you have to walk approximately 3km (30minutes) just to go the Station 2 City or pay 100 pesos for a trike ride. We stayed here for four days and I could prolly say that it is tiring to travel or walk from Diniwid to the white beach. In terms of room, nothing special, the bed is not comfy and their breakfast is so so, very ordinary like tocilog or longsilog.

We booked this terrible hotel from the 17th to the 18th of November 2013. The so called Manager is a person who couldn't care less about her guest. Since the typhoon, the electricity in the island was disconnected, thus the hotels use generators. Even Microtel hotel only disconnect their electricity at 12 in the afternoon. But in this hotel they will disconnect any time they like. At one time it was 10pm at night they disconnected the lights and didn't bother to provide us with torchlights. I assume they expect us to crawl to the toilets at night. Their only explanation from the staff there was they have smaller gen set. It was so damn hot and dark and we had to go out in the dark and ask for torchlights from them...worst still the so called manager was not bothered about us. We didn't even have our breakfast there as we were shocked to see the place they prepared our breakfast.... so unhygenic!!! we would rather starve! The area is blocked by rocks and hotels and thus its not windy at all...if you intend to enjoy your stay in the beautiful island of borocay, DON'T STAY HERE!!! Believe me...You will get better service & cheaper hotels nearby. Thank God we booked only for 2 nights..and the 2 nights were HORRIBLE!!! Try Borocay Terraces .....Had PERFECT stay there!!!

Room Tip: Don;t stay here at all is my advice....Try Borocay Terraces...the service and the place is such a be...

Breakfast not great . No phone in room so need something have to track down staff. The bed was too soft. The sat tv was great . Free Internet and not bad. 20 feet from private beach away from everything about 150 tricycle ride if your Caucasian to Da Mall and all the action . Best views

If you want a quiet private-beach-like place to stay, this is good. It is exactly beach front and not too many tourists and activities going on around this hostel. Nice beach view from the balcony in the room. I fall alseep and wake up to the sound of waves. The staff are super friendly. And they provided me breakfast even it said no breakfast when I booked the hostel.

There is no restaurant in this hostel, if you need to eat, you have to go to hotels next door to buy food. No kettle in the room and not even bottles of water provided, you have to buy it at the front desk. The worst part is a lot of lizards and mosquitos come to the room, even I closed the windows and had the air-conditioning on.

Room Tip: Get the room with beach view

The hotel is really near to the white sandy beach is just in front of the hotel but the location (Diniwind beach) is far away from the crowd & center area (station 2). You need to take tricycle (100 peso for 1 ride -not sharing with others, if you prefer to sharing it will cost 40 or 50 peso) to take you to the city center Dmall (station 2). The location (too far from city center), If you prefer to stay in the crowded area & entertainment then you better choose Station 2, it is a city center where you can found many souvenir shops, clothes, pharmacy, spas, tour agent, diving/snorkel agent and restaurants.
The room is new so everything is clean but no toilettries (only tissue), the blanket is just a bed sheet not a bed cover, no pool. This hotel is suitable for someone looking for some quiet place just for relax then this is one of the place. The breakfast is just basic but thats fine. Try to join the 1 day tour around the island and for snorkel...it will make you feel like in a paradise:)...especially the Puka beach is so beautiful! I joined "allan b fun tour" (next to the hotel) and i think they have a good price compare to others. It will cost you 700 Peso for 1 day tour. Thanks to Marisa who made me enjoy for staying here. I stayed here for 2 nights and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would recommend this hotel for people who looking for peace and relax..

Room Tip: room in front to see beautiful white sandy beach
