“Fish galore!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 December 2012

They frequently advertise this activity (glass bottom boat day tours) as meant for those who would like to go snorkelling or diving but can't. But it's more than just that. The tour starts with a nice boat that's painted like a "nemo" fish. Kids loved it. Except for some slight problems with the motor, the boat trip was great. I thought initially that it was boring since all we did is just look at the debris in sea floor and the dead coral. Until we got to the spot with many live coral and loads and loads of fish. The captain of the boat really knew where to take us and at the island where we stopped we not oly looked at the fish and coral through glass but he gave us time to snorkel.

And because of the abundance fish, we really enjoyed ourselves. There were even snacks on board as part of the fee. And we really got our money's worth with this 2 hour tour.

“Great sights and we really had a great time.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 September 2012 via mobile

We enjoyed the ride a LOT the boat's crew were nice. It would have been perfect if not for their staff named Loreley. She was supposed to be our guide but she left us in the middle of the commute without a single word. She is SO rude! Then she acted like we didnt exist while she entertained her foreign guest. Maybe because she thought that they would tip her. We ended up ushering ourselves into the boat on our own. Good thing their boat men were awesome. Or else their service would suck.

“For those who afraid to snorkel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 September 2012

We walked further down from station 1, before reaching station 2, we saw a glass bottom boat booth (orange shirt staffs with nemo word), we enquired (cant remember how much but im pretty sure around 600pesos) and they said they had a tour coming up and best was taken in the morning cos you could see more fishes. So we joined the tour. Walked towards station 1 to board the boat, it was somewhere near the lifeguard station. The staff would walked you there, not to worry. Tour was okay, I loved to be in the boat so it was fun for me. Drinks and snacks were provided. We saw fishes thru the glass. It would be fun for ppl like me who dont dare to snorkel but not much of excitement for others i think.

“Two hours of short enjoy ~~”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 July 2012

They give us discount as 60 dollars for four people for two hours leaving station 3 at 2:00 P.M

Though it's a little windy, we can enjoy snorkeling and watch glass bottom view.

If you have kids or elders, it's recommendable tour.

They provide us with drinks and chips.

“Not for the sea sick!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 February 2012

Booked this activity with a nice lady (Helen) who was manning a booth in station 2. Was able to negotiate the marked price of P750 per adult down to P650 for 4 adult prices (we had 2 teenage boys with us) and one child at P300. It was a two hour trip including snacks and drinks. I did read from the reviews that the glass bottom boat made a lot of people sick but I didn't think it would have the same effect on my kids since we often take bangka rides in Batangas almost every year. Apparently, the nemo boat will make you sick when it stops for you to view the fishes and the coral gardens somewhere near Sacred Island and Crocodile Island. It was ok as long as it was moving. We went on a nice clear day so the water condition was generally calm. Where to stop during the activity depends on the captains discretion. He explained that he did not bring us too close to Crocodile island as the water seems to be choppy today in that area. He parked the boat in a position using a small island to block the wind and the waves. Only my eldest got dizzy from the nemo boat when it stopped. My youngest daughter fell asleep on the way from the rocking. My daughter and I got off the boat to snorkel. (vests and snorkeling gears are provided). A diver went below the boat to feed the fish bread. He took up a sea cucumber and a starfish for us to see and gently placed them back after. Others in the boat with us did not seem to feel sick. There were a few more young children on the boat who were not bothered by the rocking of the boat. There are 2 pick up points in Station 1 and in Station 3. We were picked up in Station 1 first and the first to board. The captain gave us a tip to stay at the back portion of the boat and to hold our seats there as the glass at the back portion gives a better and clearer view. Make sure that you do not have a single sea sick bone in your body if you want to do this activity. If you think you can manage, I think you will enjoy this especially if you love snorkeling.
