“Very cosy and welcoming!”
Reviewed 24 September 2013

We stayed in Hannah Hotel in Station 1, just a 3-minute walk to the White Beach (main beach). The place is simply beautiful. The hotel is a family-owned, and the owners were very accommodating. They welcomed us with warm smiles. We also found out that they all studied in UPd. How cool is that! When we arrived at the hotel, the served us with a complimentary drinks and they asked us how our travel was. The place is neat. Every morning they have their staff to clean the surroundings. W
The rooms are good, nothing special, but of course, when in Boracay, you are not there to just stay in your hotel room, right? So it's not really a big deal for me. They also have hot showers, which is a must! The only downside is that the wifi is fluctuating especially when you are inside the room. But all in all, it was a great stay in Hannah Hotel. Recommendable!

Hannah is a small, family hotel, one block away from the bars and beach. So far enough to have a quiet night, but close enough to enjoy. Extremely helpful staff. They also had no problem with late checkout. Breakfast is a simple but tasteful sandwich. Rooms are simple, but cozy and clean.
Only problem is that with very high tide the beach on this side of White beach disappears, so you have to walk like 300 meters if you want to enjoy the sand.

Our stay here was excellent. The location of the hotel is close to the beach (2min walk and just across the main road) and there are street lights on the street so you can walk safely going in or out of the hotel. The owners are really friendly and help you throughout like getting around there and telling us how much the prices of the activities which help us a lot not to be trick by fixers. They have free water and unlimited coffee and tea for breakfast. Dim lights and no ref are just fine. Also when we extend our stay they accommodate us on the same room for us not to be hassle if we transfer rooms.

The only negative things about this hotel were you have no choice on the simple breakfast served everyday like banana sandwhich which I don't eat bananas. But everyday they served different menu: pancake with mangoes (love this one), sandwhiches which are not heavy but we can take an early lunch. Also, they do not refill soap and tissue automatically.

But I highly recommended this hotel!

This beautiful family owned hotel is just perfect for those who want warm, personal service. The family running this place are simply gorgeous and genuinely want to make your time in Boracay the best that it can be. I talked a lot to Inna and Paolo who taught me an awful lot about the Philippines and who were awesome at recommending places to go, things to see and basically how to ensure I had a great time. The hotel serves a delicious warm breakfast and is clean, neat and beautiful. I will agree with others that perhaps the showers are not the best, (however they work and are warm...sufficient!!) and the rooms can be a little dark (sort of adds to the charm really). Not a big deal though as there are spaces around the hotel that you can go to sit quietly and read or check e-mail and the like...and the beach is just up the road!! If you want to spend your time in your room worrying about quality showers and reading light you aren't making the most of the beauty of Boracay!! I will definitely be returning and cannot recommend it highly enough - the service you receive is priceless.

If good and personal service is important for you and not facilities and location next to water, this is for you.
Cheap fare.
Exceptional warm family-owned feeling, with two wonderful siblings running business, Paolo and Justine. who will make you feel much welcomed.
It's a bit moldy in bathrooms and a bit dark, but price/value is outstanding!

If you are on a budget than this is the place for you. Paolo, the boss, is quite helpful as he consistently offered my fiancé and me spot on recommendations for everything from laundry to water sports to dining to night life. The hotel also serves a light hot breakfast with fresh coffee which is perfect before a day on the beach. The mango pancakes were my favorite. The location is great too since the beach is only a two minute walk away. There are a few really fun dance clubs also within a couple minutes walk. Since it is a short walk to the main road, it stays quiet around the hotel so sleeping is comfortable. This is where I will stay when I return to Boracay. Good times!

Location: This hotel is situated just a few minutes (2-3) from the beach (station 1) and nightlife of Boracay, and thus more affordable and quiet than (most) beach side hotels in Boracay.

Rooms: The rooms are clean and tidy and suits all the needs. Some rooms have (cable) flat screen tv`s and some have a bit older tv's. But: who will use a tv anyway in Boracay? Two points of improvement are the lightning (it`s a bit dark in the rooms) and the showers (the pressure is not always too good).

Staff: Family owned hotel. Our stay was very pleasant. Upon arrival we were served a free welcome drink. We had a daily chat with the family and they were very helpful and hospitable. Due to the athmosphere they create in the hotel, it also attracks open minded and kind people. We met several people in the lobby! If you need anything, just ask the staff. They would be happy to help you out!

Breakfast: Breakfast was very well taken care off. The staff is trying to serve a (filipino oriented) different breakfast every day.

Room Tip: Ask for the rooms on the first floor, they are cooler, a bit bigger and have rotan roofs for a more...
