I would rate this place 5 stars for the pizza alone, but had to take the rest of the experience into consideration. Let's talk about that pizza! It was love at first bite! I didn't expect such creaminess, and the cheeses they used were the perfect balance of soft, gooey, sharp, and mild. It is a taste explosion, and would be great with a white wine (did not see the wine list though)! The mushroom pizza, although good on its own, paled in comparison. The Oyster Sisig was inventive and decadent, but I suggest that you order it to share with 3-4 friends as it is, as with all sisig, oily. We got it as a bar snack during happy hour, and was more than enough. For lunch though, it would be nice to pair with rice.
Their hard drinks are reasonably priced during happy hour, and they mix drinks with a kick without sacrificing taste. As for shakes, I really enjoyed the banana-toffee cooler, as I'd never had such a combination -- but it was delicious!
The servers were inconsistently efficient. We went thrice in one trip, and each time we'd have a good one, and then a slightly frazzled one.
The hotel so graciously allows diners and customers to use their beach front loungers and cabanas without a mandatory "consumable tab" (unlike some other ridiculous resorts); however, even at the off-peak season we went, the surrounding places played obnoxious club music at stupid o'clock in the afternoon. It could be my age, but I was turned off.
