We stayed here for four nights during Labor Day week, and booked three months in advance. The owner gave us the rooms at a discounted and very reasonable price!

I was extremely satisfied with their service! The staff was very accommodating, and the rooms were spacious and clean.

I actually like that it's located about 5 minutes away from White Beach; it feels more quiet and secure that way. D-Mall and Budget Mart are a few meters away, for all your basic needs, plus there's a BPI ATM nearby if you need cash.

Bulabog Beach is also close by, so I highly recommend that you wake up early at least once to go there and enjoy the sunrise.

They also provided us with laundry hangers outside the room, so I was able to wash and dry some of my shirts and swimsuits and use them again on another day. Good news for people like me who travel light!

You wouldn't have to worry about your losing your things, either, because a security guard watches over the property 24/7.

During the day of our departure, the owner allowed us to use their computer to check into our Kalibo flight and print out our itineraries at no cost.

I'm definitely going to stay here again!

You will feel so welcome..the owners are nice people, very hospitable.. this place is very nice and clean..I will definitely recommend this to my friends who would like to visit boracay...

If I'll come back to boracay I would love to stay in ernest place..but I doubt it coz personally, I didnt like boracay..dont get me wrong beach is superb..but boracay is the place where you will encounter very annoying, persistent vendors..very shifty locals if you are not careful..its sad how some spots in boracay has full of garbage and stings like poo..you'll find heaps of algae and you won't enjoy swimming unless you'll walk kilometers and locate a good swimming spot..I think packages here like island hopping..parasailing..jetski..kayaking are way too much thats why be very careful you wont get ripped off.. if I'll come back to Philippines I rather visit cebu coz its way better not to crowded unlike boracay..

We stayed at Ernest's Place Boracay in June of this year (2nd time there). The weather wasn't the greatest but we still managed to enjoyed our stay.

The rooms are very well maintained, they clean it daily and change the towels & bed sheets. The staff & owner of Ernest's are all very friendly and kind. It's very peaceful & relaxing to stay there, if you're not picky and are looking for a place to stay & sleep comfortably then I definitely recommend staying at Ernest's Place. The place has 2 stories, on the 2nd floor it has a private balcony & on the main floor it has a veranda w/ tables & chairs on both floors. The rates are also very affordable, I have no major complaints. The beach is only a few minutes walk away, if you're a lazy walker then I suggest you stay at a beach front hotel. :)

It is located near D'Mall where most of the shops and restaurants are. If you stay there, you're at the center of Boracay. Although Ernest's is a small place compare to all the big hotels there, we really loved it there and will be staying there again when we return to Boracay. Ernest's Place is simply satisfying!!

Rooms are designed with a class. You can get privacy here amidst the crowd in Boracay because this is a small place and guests ca feel ar home. The owner is accomodating, you can request her ir staff to cook for you for a fee. D mall is just a few meters away from this place.

My partner and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. Pros: affordable - ate Seoly, the owner of the place gave us a discounted rate. Even without the discount, the rooms were already affordable for it's price; Room amenities were complete - hot & cold shower, water heater for coffee or cup noodles, aircon, closet & hangers for clothes, refrigerator; Room was spacious - 2 beds, 1 single & 1 Queen size bed that can fit a family; Clean - the owner made sure that they clean the rooms daily when we go to the beach. Sheets and towels were changed daily too; Staff was very accomodating - staff lives in one of the rooms nearby and we borrow stuff we need for cooking. They have a small grill which we used to cook tuna and pork belly. They also let us checkout late since nobody was booked on our room after us; Comfort - the place was homey, it has a garden and small veranda where you can sit and read books or look at people passing by. The bed is very firm and the pillows were very comfy. Linens were clean and smell good; Location - 2 minute walk to BPI and Metrobank ATMs and Budget Mart. Near Bulabog Beach and other establishments to eat. Spas are nearby too. Transpo is also easy since all tricycles are just within reach; Security - the have security guards at night
Cons: 7-10 minute walk to white beach

Overall, the place was all good! ;)

It is strategically located between Boracay Strip (across D'Mall and BPI Boracay Branch) and Balabag stretch. It opened on the latter part of 2011 and to date, has only 6 units which are fully occupied mostly by Koreans and Germans on a short-term lease of about 3 months usually during summer here in the Philippines. Ernest's Place is designed to look like the inns in North America. Currently, it is only a 1-storey structure but it has provisions to accommodate more floors eventually. Because the inn is walking distance from Balabag beachfront, its transient lessees are usually into sky boarding. The rooms are clean and equipped with aircon, hot and cold shower, cable tv, personal ref and a terrace with a garden set. It has a nearby manmade lake in which you can enjoy kayaking or fishing for tilapia. The staff is very accommodating. However, they don't serve food there. For meals, you are directed to a nearby Korean resto fronting the manmade lake or the restos along Balabag Strip. Among those restos, I enjoyed buffet breakast and lunch at 7Stones Resort. If your idea of a vacation is to try different restos within the place and to use your room solely for relaxing and sleeping, then this place is for you. I'd love to come back to Ernest's Place anytime!

Room Tip: Get any of the 2 rooms facing the manmade lake so you won't see the sky boarders and tourists p...
