Very good place. Buffet breakfast was good, location is convenient. Rooms are comfortable and service is good as well. ALthough, since the resort is big, it gets confusing at the start. We were lucky to be given a room near the beach entrance. Pool is available and big enough for guests.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Boracay Regency. When we first arrived, we were assigned to a room that didn't have a working lock on the sliding glass door that led out to the pool, but it was absolutely no problem to get us in another room. We ended up in one of the ground level rooms where we could walk out our back porch and jump in the pool - just a couple strokes from the swim up bar. Great location! I was surprised that the in the room blocked out a lot of the noise from outside too. Our room was very clean and nice with 2 queen beds and a big bathroom. We didn't utilize room service so I can't speak to that, but all of the staff we interacted with were very friendly (including the bartenders). Sometimes the drinks were a little inconsistent (there was one guy bartender that made the best :)), but overall good. We also ate breakfast at Christina's (which was complimentary)...we really enjoyed that as well. Lots of choices on the buffet and you also get a hot breakfast entree to choose from. Great location too!

We enjoyed our stay in Regency Hotel in Boracay. We booked for a standard room and luckily we were upgraded to a de luxe room. We checked in at 12noon, left our baggage at the concierge since our room was not ready yet. Usual check in is at 2pm, we got our room at 2:30pm. We went for a swim while waiting so it's really not a bother. Our room was spacious and cozy. Set up of room was simple in white decor, lighting's warm. Both standard and de luxe room has no bathtub but its ok. Bathroom's big and clean complete with toiletries. Towel and bathrobe available but no slippers. A lot of cable channels to choose from. Fridge was empty but food is available at their store which is open from 6am to 12mn. We loved the pool with the jacuzzi in the middle. Stayed most of the morning there since its high tide at the beach. Nice to go swimming late at night too since the water's warm. Love the bar in the pool too, great to eat while swimming. It was very relaxing. You can ask for a beach towel in the pool area which you can bring to your room. (but not to take home). If you got more money to spare it is really nice to get a room with pool access. You have your balcony right beside the pool. . Breakfast buffet was good. Got lots of selections. Definitely with just a little more money to spare we'll definitely stay here at Hotel Regency Boracay again. Cons - No Free Wifi, no bathtub for de luxe room. Although it is a beachfront hotel since it is big you might get a room a little far from the beach since it is a big place.

We stay there one of the most peak season, initially we reserved delux room, but they overbooked
,so we suggested room upgrade to presential sweet room.
The room was excellent but service was not good,
Breakfast was normal,
The location was the best, our room was just center of boracay beach, it's best for enjoy boracay, it's near the d mall,... But except that just normal.

We were a big group of 9 family members composed of 4 seniors, 4 adults and a one-year old baby and I can say we made the right choice of booking this hotel.

We booked a total of 3 rooms with Boracay Regency. Our room was the family room in the garden wing. The room is spacious enough to accommodate 5 adults, as it has one queen sized bed and 3 single beds. The only challenge is it only has one toilet and bath. Our room was literally 5 steps away from the pool which was very convenient as we were travelling with a baby, thus, we have a lot of baby gear in tow.

The room is in the newer part of the hotel which was not in the beach front. The walk to the beach takes about 7 minutes through the hotel corridors, not an issue if you have everything in your beach bag but can prove to be a work out if you tend to forget stuff like sunblock or shades.

The staff are very friendly and patient, especially during meal times with the toddler. There were days though that it took a while for the room to be made up.

Location is also ideal, as it is walking distance to the mall, and the beach front is always secure and not crowded.

The only minus is the elevators are in the very end of the corridors, which can be a challenge for seniors or those needing wheel chair access staying in the upper floors. The hotel accommodated our request to have seniors on the ground floor so it was not an issue for our family.

Food is ok, considering it is not that expensive considering it is a hotel. Buffet breakfast selection is adequate.

The transfers the hotel offers is well-worth the money you pay for as it offers convenience, especially during peak season. You get in and out of the island in style with their own speed boat.

This is not the first time we stayed in this hotel and we will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for 8 nights in their Premier Room with Pool Access at East Wing.

Pros:
1. Room - spacious and very comfortable king bed - best bed we've slept in at Philippines!
2. Pool - nice access direct from room.
3. Breakfast - was average-good quality. With a big-sized resort such as this it did get quite busy, however, they have put in place good systems to deal with the crowd.
4. Location - although it is very close to the D'Mall area, we did not hear any noise from our room at night. Also, being close to D'Mall means your close to restaurants in the area.
5. Hap Chan Restaurant - this is the Chinese/Korean restaurant at the front of the resort (owned by the Regency). We always ordered from their Chinese Menu and the food was excellent. The service is also excellent.
6. Christina's Restaurant - this is a 'fine dining' restaurant at the front of the resort (owned by the Regency). Food and service here was excellent.

Cons:
1. Bathroom - shower door didn't fully close and thus leaked some water out. Overall, the bathroom could be updated.
2. Pool Bar staff - one particular guy here didn't seem to be happy to serve the guests - grumpy face the entire time we were there.

Overall, would recommend this resort to couples or families.
