“Beautiful resort complex in the heart of Station 2”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 November 2013

We stayed at this resort for one night and it was a pity we didn't have more time to explore the Boracay Regency hotel complex a little more. It is quite large and at times we did get lost trying to navigate through the grounds.

We stayed in the East wing booked in two deluxe rooms on the second floor. Rooms were equipped with everything you would expect of a four star hotel- TV with cable channels, mini bar, bath tub, separate shower, iron etc. My room had a queen sized bed as well as a single bed, while my travel companions room had a king sized bed. The rooms were clean and comfortable and had a balcony overlooking the main pool and pool bar!

The hotel's restaurant situated on the beach front side of the hotel complex also has a white pavilion directly on the beach, with a buffet spread each night and entertainment. We found the buffet to be pretty average and quite expensive. The entertainment provided were a trio of singers doing popular covers however the most entertaining part of the night is when all of the hotels chef's dance and sing to a selected song- was quite funny!

Although this hotel was more on the expensive end of the spectrum (for a Station 2 hotel), we enjoyed our brief stay and I would recommend it especially for families!

Room Tip: The East wing is convenient in that it is right next to and has views of, the main pool and pool bar...

We booked a superior room for our family but they given us free upgrade to deluxe room, that was a great with big room with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. Thank you for receptionist very much for welcome drind by 3 vouchers for drind at Ware bar at Sunday night.
The McDonald's restaurant located on resort basement. Our family eat here everyday. Near resort have a lots of restaurants and cafes. It located on central of station 2.
They service was very good and my son love their swimming pool very much. The staff very friendly and warmly.
Check in and check out so smoothly and quickly. We will stay there if come back to Boracay again.

Room Tip: Rooms near beach so noisy on Saturday night

Stayed for 2 nights and got 2 rooms for me, my husband and 2 teen kids. Had a pleasant stay. The breakfast buffet was great with lots of choices. The room was beautiful and spacious, well maintained. The staff were friendly and accomodating. Swam in the pool and got my buco juice while on the pool because they have a bar within the pool, awesome! However I have to say they need more people to clean up the pool area cause some of the drinks and a some trash were still there the next morning. Overall we had a wonderful time.

Pros: Good rooms with cold A/C, nice lobby, fantastic breakfast buffet, great location

Cons: Delayed checkout (they have to verify the room first), slow WiFi, rates vary widely

My girlfriend is Filipino and all of her friends had positive things to say about Boracay Regency. The best deals tend to be on the 3 day/2 night packages you can get very, very good rates on (usually including flights). We were there for one night on a walk-in rate and definitely got way overcharged compared to the package rates, even with the "discount".

That said, we really enjoyed the stay. We spent the next night at Discovery Shores, and while the beach was a little nicer, we missed almost everything about Station 2 and felt the Regency was a better choice. I'd definitely go there again, I'd just negotiate a better deal in advance :)

We spent 3 nights in Boracay Regency and over all it was a pleasant experience for our family. We got the family room which was very ideal for us because it has 2 rooms with a common bathroom and we had enough beds for me and my husband and our 4 kids ages 9,8,5 and 2. Because we took a package with all meals included, we were spared of the task of deciding what or where to eat. The buffet was satisfying but there were times when there weren't dishes suited for the kids' taste so one dinner time we had to buy McDonald's for them. There are a lot of restaurants in the area that we would like to try when we come back. The beach area was always clean and well provided with lounge chairs. We tried all three pools and enjoyed each one of them. The staff of the hotel were all very courteous and willing to help. We liked it that they weren't always at our backs and we were given space to do our thing but we know that if we do need their assistance we will be given prompt attention and service. A plus for the hotel is it's location. There are restos, bars, shops, people offering massages, braiding, tattoos all giving you the "Boracay" feeling, but you can have a good night's rest in your hotel room which is fairly situated away from the noise. All in all we were happy with our stay.

Room Tip: The family room is perfect for a group of 4 to 6 persons

This nice hotel they have an open buffet at the beach every night at an affordable price. and a varied menu every day. is accompanied by live music. and the dancing chef. their service is very good. very nice location. there are 3 swimming pools in the hotel area. nice big room. but his ac was noisy because the window ac. I upgraded from a superior room to deluxe. check in at 3 pm. very long to wait because I arrive in the morning at 8 am. it's because I upgraded to the deluxe because they can provide before 12 noon. subject to extra charge. hot water heater does not work they say has not been turned on. finally after waiting 10 minutes to use hot water only for the first 5 minutes and going back cold. This is not fun.

We stayed at the Boracay Regency for 7 nights late September with my family from Australia. When we booked back in July we specifically requested and paid extra for the East Wing which had a nice new pool and renovated rooms.

When we arrived we found that the East Wing pool was being renovated and the rooms we had were the old unrenovated ones. After complaining to the desk we were offered an identical room right at the front of the resort near the night club which we had heard was very load and not good if you have kids. This we declined and and asked if there were any other rooms but no luck. The management sent us a voucher for 1 free dinner which was quite nice but did not make up for listening to the angle grinding and hammering which went on all day long.

If we had known that this renovation was going on we would have definitely booked elsewhere.

A very disappointing stay for our second time in Boracay and what made it worse was that on the day we were leaving they were just finishing the renovations.
