We had a week at the Sea Wind Resort. Getting there is quite a journey, can be experienced both as streneous and/or exotic and certainly time consuming from the airport of Kalibo.
However, it is definitively worth it once you get there. The room was spacious with two beds, matresses somewhat hard but that was fixed with a duvet.
This summarises this hotel, not perfect but things could be fixed, and with a smile.
The resort is on the beach, good for walking and swimming. The water seemed OK, but according to an article in a newspaper the nations leader Duterte has promised or threatened to have the sewers on Boracay cleaned up by this year.
The breakfast was fine with many choices. We had most of the evening meals there, almost on the beach. This was is particularly spectacular in the sunset, meals are very good and varied. And the nice personell is there all the time for you.
Getting around on this island was easy, the guard at the gate hails a tuc tuc. Just remember some cash.
