Staff are friendly and helpful. Very sociable hostel. Rooftop bar with wifi. Karaoke is good fun. Short walk to beach with loads of activities. Great for backpackers! Breakfast is basic, but better than most backpacker hostels in SE Asia.

Great place! Excellent location at station 2, one street from D Mall (where a lot of the restaurants and shops are).

Pod beds great - privacy, light, power socket, hotel quality linen. Air con a must - the fan room I visited was unbearably hot (hotter than outside, which was 35 degrees!). Wifi good although not available in most of the rooms.

Common areas make it a really sociable place. Rooftop terrace great place to meet people, there's plenty of places to sit and chill out throughout the hostel. TV on 2nd floor. Cool, quite funky decor and quirky little touches everywhere. Bathrooms are mixed (male and female) and pretty clean considering the number of people using them.

Breakfast is toast and jams, eggs, banana, fruit salad, tea and coffee and is unlimited until 10am. Beers and soft drinks available to buy on site (same price as local bars but slightly more than the supermarket).

Staff are excellent - really helpful, friendly and welcoming, with a good knowledge of the town and are able to book any trips/excursions for you.

It's more expensive than some other hostels but when you get a towel, beach towel, unlimited wifi, free drinking water AND breakfast, it works out as good value IMO.

Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and have already recommended it to others.

We recently stayed in MNL Boracay Beach Hostel during the off season and had a very good stay here. This turned out to be the perfect choice for a group of friends.

We booked an entire dorm room through Booking.com, 6 months prior to staying here.

What we liked
- Good location: Station 2, a few minutes walk to D'Mall.
- Dorm room. The room had a functioning AC unit and fan which kept it cool and pleasant. There is a full length mirror, and many hooks for hanging towels etc.
- Pods. Each pod included a firm and comfortable twin size mattress and additional space along the side and end for keeping other things. There were also hooks, an electrical outlet and a non-obtrusive light. Individual lockers are found at the bottom of the pods which, while not the of best quality, served their purpose.
- Each person is provided bath and beach towels
- Shared toilets/bathroom were available in 2 floors - these were usually clean and we never had to wait to use them
- Very pleasant common areas, one can even barbecue on the top floor.
- Breakfast is included (simple but sufficient)
- Free wifi connection which was strong in the reception and lower floors
- Staff were pleasant, helpful, gave good information and frequently clean the common areas.

What we didn't like (minor)
- The handle for climbing the upper pod is a small ring which could be difficult to grasp for tall guests.
- Dorm is not cleaned everyday and can get sandy (a daily sweeping would be welcome), and the rubbish bin is small for our group size
- Shower pressure was only moderate in the upper floor
- Rooftop had an unpleasant smell coming from the exhaust pipe

MNL Boracay Beach Hostel is a great value for money accommodation option for a big group when staying in Boracay. The pod type accommodation allowed enough privacy while encouraging interaction among peers, the facilities were adequate and amenities in good functional order, and we enjoyed the common areas very much. This is a very nice hostel for backpackers and budget-minded travelers which we would be happy to stay again and recommend to others.

A few tips:
- Upper pod provides more privacy
- At the time of writing, there is a 5% discount for liking their Facebook page
- Lower floor bathroom includes a hairdryer

This hostel isn't right on the beach, but that doesn't matter much considering Boracay is a small island. For what I paid, I felt like it was a great place. Of course, there was sand everywhere. If you manage to keep it out of your bed, good for you. We stayed in the eight bed dorm, which was all right. The first night there was A/C and the room felt fine. At some point during the next day the remote for the A/C disappeared and it was incredibly hot.

The breakfast was pretty great, but make sure to get there early before all the eggs and coffee are gone. This hostel was a great place to meet people to go out with. The roof was a great place to hang out as well. The atmosphere was great and I was pleased with my stay here. I didn't interact with the staff much, they seemed nice.

I highly recommend this place.

Room Tip: Get a room with A/C.

Very near to bulabog beach, 5 minutes walk to D'mall and white beach station 2, nice bed and pillow, good hot shower, there is even wall fan inside the room, overall a good experience to stay here. The only cons is the light inside the room is not bright enough but luckily i can open the window and let the sunlight goes in.

breakfast included (do not expect heavy meal though)
near d mall, white beach, bulabog beach (walking distance)
pod beds are the best i like it
you might be concerned with your things and valuables, each bed pods has a cabinet, double locks (too bad if you have big luggage because that wont fit inside those cabinets so make sure to bring your own locks just in case
the staff are really nice and friendly
expect to meet new friends :)
wifi connection is fast on common areas like the living room, rooftop (which works for me, because its quiet inside the room, everybody has to go out to get wifi connection)

i'll tell you once i can think of something :)

The best place to stay in Boracay, situated between the White beach and Bulabog beach, easy access to both beaches. Not too close to the party area but just a short walk to D'Mall. The hostel has a very cool, hip atmosphere, beds are comfortable (thick mattresses, clean white sheets) and you do get enough privacy with their pod style beds, restrooms are well-maintained with hot/ cold rain showers. Every thing looks new and clean. Price is affordable, perfect for solo travelers and backpackers. Staff were accommodating and the free breakfast was filling. Lots of cozy common areas so you could be able to meet cool travelers from around the world. Super love this hostel! Undoubtedly one of the best hostels ever. Highly recommended!
