Small Inn with Clean rooms and perfect service. Friendly Owner who personally attended to us back in 2004 when i went with one of my business partner. Guess the place is now renovated since then with better rooms and look forward to visit Boracay sometime again. The island is really goof for affordable beach holiday you will not get anywhere in the world.

Room Tip: Located just few minutes walk when u go by a public transport boat.

Owner very friendly. What i didnt like was the fact that a safe was described in the Internet and also confirmed at the reservation.
When we arrived and found no hotel safe the owner said: "Well, this is a new room, so no safe availabe. But dont worry, there is only you and the other guests here". That i did not like, how can you announce something before and then not keep it. Especially annoying because the owner was American.

Everything else was great. Room cleaning could have been better. They did not clean the rooms daily, and after 2 days we literally needed to push them to clean the place.

We stayed here based on reviews and unfortunately it wasn't very good.
Firstly the forgot to pick us up from the airport so we paid for a private transfer. We had to embarrassingly ask 3 times for our money back.
Every day the manager was complaining about money to his staff. He regularly yelled at them in front of guests. This made us very uncomfortable.
They ran out of soap. When they said they had none I wondered how the staff washed their hands. It took 3 hours to get soap even though there are shops that are dedicated to just selling soap. The supermarket also sold it. They ran out of toilet paper twice and had to dash off to the market.
Soap and toilet paper are basic necessities.
Vaughan blamed a lot on the typhoon however we found the other hotels all had soap and toilet paper.
The wifi is pre paid with a bad and often non existent signal.
Our room door would jam and not lock.
There was no hairdryer or safety deposit box in the room as we were told there would be.
We stayed 8 nights and our sheets were not changed once. The towels, sheets and beds are very old and need replacing.
The deck chairs are rotting and breaking. I would say 70 percent were broken.
Breakfast was poor. They watered down the juice. All options were not available as advertised.
We felt Vaughan was unapproachable and gruff when we had a problem. He seemed stressed and this affected our stay.
We didnt eat our meals here as the ones we saw looked terrible.
The hotel also attracts old men who have young local women staying with them. In one case the man was in his 60s and the local was under 20.
The location is not bad but I would definitely spend my money elsewhere.

My husband and I went to Boracay for a week and initially stayed in Station 2 at a very upscale hotel (not worth the high price). We heard so much about Blue Mango so we decided to check it out and move to Station 3.

Immediately, Vaughn and his wife take you in and make sure you are well taken care of. Vaugh is direct, to-the-point, and authentic. He tells it to you straight, which we enjoy, so we never felt he was trying to sell us anything. We felt we hit the jackpot when we got here. The price was AMAZING compared to other accommodations on the island, plus being in station 3 keeps you away from all the loud hoopla!

Pros:
- Absolutely clean rooms (cleaned every day, new towels and all), rooms were big! - Staff are funny and sweet (feels like a family)
- The garden suite rooms are quiet and peaceful - such a zen like environment
- Beach front eating and reading, great patio furniture
- Fantastic food! The only place on the island that you can get a burger made right! Order anything, you will love it
- Breakfast included and there were so many choices
- They know everything there is to know about the island so they can arrange any activities for you

Cons:
- Wish we stayed longer!

Vaughn and his wife have an amazing joint worth all the praise. We had to leave at 5am to take a ferry and catch our flight, and Vaughn was up and ready just so he could make sure we were good to go - even arranged our transport there - and I didn't have change (only big bills) so he paid for the tricycle. So thankful for the Blue Mango family and staff, we will definitely make a point of staying here the next time we are in Boracay.

Room Tip: Our garden suite was perfectly quiet and it was so amazing waking up to a garden of Palm Trees and C...

I stayed at Blue Mango this past weekend with two friends and we loved it! We decided to stay at Blue Mango based on reviews and the location. The inn is conveniently close to the main strip but also removed enough that we could relax without vendors or the hustle and bustle of vacationers around us. The owners and staff at Blue Mango go above and beyond to make sure their guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay. Any food or drink ordered at the bar is brought out to you on the beach or to your room. We were even upgraded to a family suite for free! The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Vaughn, the owner, will also arrange transport for you to and from the island so you don't have to worry about navigating or payment yourself. He also arranged scuba diving for the friends I travelled with, which they raved about. The Inn also has an arrangement with Bella Isa, the spa next door, which offers reasonably priced spa packages that are the perfect compliment to a week on the beach.

Two thumbs up! Stay at Blue Mango!!

For our first trip to Boracay I wanted to stay on the beach away from the crowds so Station 3 made sense. After reading the reviews I had to try this place. Like so many of the other reviewers I have to say this place is a gem! From our welcome drink to the great breakfasts (included), it was just a pleasant stay. Yes, Vaughan is friendly and a great host. We added a 4th night with no problems, and got the same Agoda rate we paid for the first 3. It is a medium priced hotel so you could get a cheaper place but for the price it is well worth it! I certainly would not pay for one of the larger resorts because they would not offer any better service than we got here. The food is wonderful, beds comfortable, good aircon, even good plumbing! (I retired to the Philippines and miss good plumbing ha ha). Direct beach access. No crowds. Easy walk to the action at Station 2. You won't be disappointed.

As a frequent Boracay visitor, station 3 is my favorite area. It has a nice beach front, away from the crowd which means more privacy. Blue Mango Inn is one the best in the area. Mainly I chose this resort because of the quiet beach front. We had a very early check in, and good thing they've allowed us to do so. Not only that, the owner himself upgraded us to a garden view room which was very large for two people. I loved the mango juice welcome drink :) The room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was really good. One thing probably they can improve is the friendliness of hotel staff. Location wise, going to D' Mall, was a bit far especially at night when your tired from walking around the day. However overall, highly recommended.
