My Girlfriend and I stayed for 1 week at Villa Sunset Boracay. We had a poolside room and it was Beautiful. Clean room, confortable bed and lots of Hot Water. The pool is clean but small. The White Beach is just about 1 minute walk up a narrow pathway and only a few minutes walk to D'Mall(lots of nice little shops). I seen this Hotel on Asia Rooms but I booked it direct. It cost me $67 US and I feel that I got my monies worth by getting such a nice room and being only a minute from the beach. I can not comment on any of the other aminities sence we did not use them , but I can say that All the Hotel staff was friendly and Helpful. No complaints at all.

I stayed here back in 06, so maybe things have changed. But I had a great time. Big, clean room. A/C worked great. The loft did get a little warm, but it's the Philippines, so what do you expect? The pool was nice, and a great place for sipping a pina colada.
If you are high maintenance and will be spending most of your time at the hotel, then it's probably not for you. But, if you're a budget traveler looking to spend your day on the beach and exploring the island, this is a wonderful place to make "home base".
If you think you're really not street smart, and walking in alleys upsets you, then you might want to just reconsider traveling in SEAsia all together. Never felt unsafe my whole time on the island.

My wife and I stayed here for one night and that was enough.
For the amount of money we paid, I think it is over-valued.
First, it's location is not exactly prime - when we had to check in for our first night, we had to be brought though narrow, unfamiliar and dirty alleys of the town. It does not have beachfront, and you have to walk thru this narrow alley to the beach.
Also the aircon was not working - we sweated it out the one night we stayed.
They do have a large room and the bathroom is big and uses fine accessories.

I love this place it was comportable and quite, friendly staff, accommodating owner. This hotel non front beach but you are secure in everything and everywhere you go one of the staff will assist you if you like. STay first and try the service before you COMPLAIN. aLL I can say my holiday is Amizing. Nothing to complain . start learning in different culture.
